There is a deafening bang as Avise suddenly bursts into the room, almost rattling the door off its hinges!

AVISE: [Puff, Pant] Wait, Pagani! I'll take it off your hands if you don't want it!

MICHELE: ...why on Earth would you want it in the first place?

AVISE: ...The Lotus was my favourite Bond car of the lot?

MICHELE: Eh, whatever. [tosses keys over] Knock yourself out, I for one don't need trout blocking my exhaust.

Avise leaves, whistling a jaunty tune and spinning the keyring on his index finger. Agapita is waiting outside.

AVISE: Great work, Agapita! At last, a sports car of my own! Now, I'm finally on something like an equal footing with the rest of the handlers. Your cyborg ear really elucidates the important things.

AGAPITA: Thanks, sir! [beams, and then shifts feet sheepishly] Would this mean that I could, uh... take fitness off for a few days...

AVISE: Why, of course! That's the least I could do!

Wasn't the underwater Lotus Esprit featured in For Your Eyes Only as well?

Between the free apartment, all the overtime he works, and now a free Bugatti, Mancini might become the first OC handler to leave the SWA wealthier than he arrived!

I can see a disgruntled Agapita making the logical decision that since she's the one who cleaned the muddy carpets and dead fish out, and then waxed it she should be able to take it out for just a short drive...

Yeah Lotus, rather unfortunately, did a special edition for it...

I actually don't mind the colour scheme (and the ski-racks are awesome, I need some like that for the Alfetta), but "007" logo would have to go. If it had been better integrated into the rest of the colour scheme I could have handled it, but here it's just slapped on.
