I had to find this after I ask, don't I? :/
Anyway, Cambridge is really close to Hertfordshire (well, my town, at least), as is Oxford. So that's not a problem for me. Nor is money, as my parents have a stash of money saved up for uni for me and my sister
But yeah, Imperial College might be one to look into... Thanks.

I finally saw the last episodes of Big O, but I still don't understand any bit of that show.
Can someone tell me what was the meaning of everything?
giant robots, god, um, tomatoes...
also, what's a girl-boy?

a girl-boy is the rather odd term used in certain fanfictions for boy cyborgs though why the girl part is there is anyones guess,it should be noted that not all fanfiction writers use the term

Ya know ...Whats the point of revolvers anymore?
The only things i see going for them is a direct feeding system in a small package. IE you dont need to take out a mag and load then put it back in. And simplicity so it wont jam so easy.
and i cant think of any other reason revolvers are even useful for their origional intended purpose anymore.
give me some of your insight

Re: The 'Ask a Question' Thread
I'm no expert on firearms - I've never even held an actual handgun - but I suppose that one advantage of a revolver is that you're not flinging spent casings every which-way. This makes clean-up at the end of the range day easier... and if you're involved in anything dodgy it also means less incriminating evidence deposited at the scene!

Re: The 'Ask a Question' Thread
but when theres a body with large calibre bullets in it and no spent casings...it kinda points to a revolver and if they connect the body with you and they find out you have a revolver.... plus you could always put a casing recepticle on your gun

Re: The 'Ask a Question' Thread
revolvers? pretty much what's been listed...
-doesn't jam (the worst a revolver can jam is getting the cylinder stuck, and that's difficult to do)... this is actually a big advantage.
-easily utilizes magnum calibers (ever held a Desert Eagle? It takes big hands to control one of those)
-more accurate... on a mechanical level. Since a revolver barrel is part of the frame, it doesn't move during cycling and firing the way an auto pistol's does. This is the same difference as that between an autoloading rifle and a bolt-action one.
as for being less traceable... the barrel is still rifled (and therefore the expended round is traceable to the gun), and it's not swappable. The best CSI could do with a casing would be a partial fingerprint (and the criminal would be pretty stupid to leave one of those).

Who the hell would name their anime OAV "Butt Attack Punisher Girl Gautaman"?
And then who would have the gall to actually release a sequel to "Butt Attack Punisher Girl Gautaman"?

Depends on the OS.
In Mac, it's Shift-Command-4 and then you drag to enclose the area you wish to copy.
Some video players also have a "Screen Capture" command.

Do Iranians have problems with Arabians?
I have an OC that will probably have an Arabic name, and he'll be working with Iran's leader. I have to recheck, but I think Persia was the supposed enemy in Pluto, so I'm not actually saying that they're bad or anything.
What is Iran's leader called?
Dictator? President? King?

Re: The 'Ask a Question' Thread
Most Iranians are Shi'a Muslims, whilst most Arabs are Sunni Muslims. So there is friction there.
Iran is a theocratic Islamic republic. The absolute leader of Iran is the "Supreme Leader of Iran" which is held by the senior Ayatollah.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is the current Supreme Leader of Iran.
Iran does have a popularly-elected President (currently Mahmoud Ahmadinejad), but he answers to the Supreme Leader.

Ah, German. I see.
While we're on the subject of Germany...
You know all this talk about there being an Illuminati or New World Order? I'd like to ask, with all sincerity - what difference would it make if there were, indeed, an Illuminati/New World Order? Would it be bad to have them in charge? This isn't a sarcastic or rhetorical question - I really want to know.

Comments : To those who don't know me, I've been a Cyborg Central member since 2008 and used to assist in scanlating chapters for the Gunslinger Girl manga when it was still being published in Japan. Now, I just tend to drift around in here now and then depending on whatever random impulse implores me to float back in here. Maybe I'll stick around, maybe I won't. Depends on what real life and the Internet implore me to do.

Why not just cut an mp3 down to size? You could use something like Audacity for that...
