Firing a .22 sideways won't mess your wrist up. A .45, on the other hand - now, that's another story...

...and it can only mess up your gun if you drop it... or if it's ejecting straight up instead of straight down it may cause the gun to jam if it has weak ejection in the first place.
'course, that also gives you the opportunity to catch the casing before it hits the ground.
Moral of the story: only fire sideways for execution shots, and only if you intend to catch the casing.

as for messing up your wrist... depends on the wrist, and whether or not you cock your arm sideways along with your wrist. never fire a high caliber handgun with your wrist twisted.

I heard there was a technique for shooting such. Metal Gear Solid 3's EVA shoots sideways and use the recoil to push the gun to quickly finish off a line of soldiers.

Al'Qaeda trains their people to fire AK-47s sideways in small rooms so that the recoil makes their fire sweep across the room. That's actually spray-and-pray at its most effective.
Highly unlikely that it could hit everyone standing in a line, though. That's really just Hollywood bullshit.

Yeah for muzzle climb most people cut slits into the top of the barrel and prolly a hole in tho slide and it lets off gases or something and lessens the recoil.

ive seen plenty of ganstas with guns leik that around here but its prolly because it looks cool.

weakens the barrel, too. better to thread in a compensator.

BTW: I know I tied the Sageo (the Cord attached to the Sheath thats normally used to tied the thing on your back or shoulder.) like a merchant around the Sheath. but thats because I don't carry it on my hip that often, Unless I am helping out with yet another demonstration. so this way of tying it around the sheath keeps me from stepping on it with my foot while I am carrying it around. and also prevents it from hanging on the ground connecting dust while it is resting up against the wall.

tieing the sageo is tough for me i had my mom tie it for me a couple of times cause im lame at knots and i cant braid for crap i wing it and end up with something uniqe tho and it looks cool.

i wear skate shoes so i have the longest shoelaces so i tie them normal once then french braid the laces some then tuck them under the the end and tie them again its pretty darn girly looking.

I finally broke down... I bought a .22LR and a 12 gauge, because everyone I shoot with has at least one of each. Mine had to be weird, though. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I went and bought the same Remington and Winchester and/or Ruger as everyone else.

Congrats on your 12 gauge (and .22LR). Dunno how it is in your area, but round here, if you don't at least have a 12 gauge for hunting, you're doing it wrong.

Hunting? I've done it in the past... and am quite capable, but for now I've got grocery stores. My guns are for target shooting and the zombie apocalypse! Or, y'know, self defense.

Heh, I hear ya.

Haven't done much hunting for a while either. Plus, why go sit outside for a few hours with the hopes of being able to shoot, when you can go to the range. At least you don't need to clean a target.

well earlier this week i ordered a new hammer for my gun and it looks like it was in good time cause not 2 minutes ago i loaded my gun pulled back the slide and then pulled the triger that the gun suddenly malfunctioned and went full auto making a vicious SMG sound kicking my hand up 2 whole feet and unleasing 32 shots in less than 3 seconds and on the last shot the hammer went down and snapped in half the gun unable to continue cycleing released gas into the air. Oh hell im dissapointedin the crappy stock hammer but what the hel that was awesome and ive got a new hammer on the way.

I gotta go get some spackle to fill in the line of holes going straight up in my wall.

Actually i do have a silencer for it but i cant find it so i never show it in the pictures its probably off hiding in some part of the world.

I was thinking of maybe putting a comphensator on it and then maybe a mag well and a sight mount and then maybe a red dot sight and making it a race gun

Well its pretty loud loud enough to make the neighbors take a look its kinda like the sound of a pnematic nailgun or maybe the sound of dropping a phone book on a tile floor.

I like the p226 and all but really am being moody about them i think it has to do with the safety being a decocking lever or something meh its just me.

Well, the P22 shares the P99's grip angle and shapes, but is smaller. The whole gun overall is pretty cheap, unlike the P99s. The gun can litterally chew itself up straight from the box. I did some recommended mods to it, just some simple grind and buff, and the thing runs like a champ now. It'll feed most ammo and do it well. It also hates to be shot clean. The feed issues I get are only after I clean it and last about 50 rounds.

Overall, my favorite gun is my M&P40, hands down.
