I like the p226 and all but really am being moody about them i think it has to do with the safety being a decocking lever or something meh its just me.

Well, the P22 shares the P99's grip angle and shapes, but is smaller. The whole gun overall is pretty cheap, unlike the P99s. The gun can litterally chew itself up straight from the box. I did some recommended mods to it, just some simple grind and buff, and the thing runs like a champ now. It'll feed most ammo and do it well. It also hates to be shot clean. The feed issues I get are only after I clean it and last about 50 rounds.

Overall, my favorite gun is my M&P40, hands down.

The MP40 is a nice piece of German engineering. I've fired one and it is actually very controllable.

The rate of fire isn't all that high. but that's what makes the gun controllable at full auto.

But if we are talking about SMG's from that Time period, I'd go with the Thompson SMG (Doesn't matter to me what version). I am a bit of a high caliber buff. the fact that the MP40 is a 9MM shooter just puts me off.

Indeed I did, though an MP40 would be a nice thing to have, though I could never afford one at the going rate.
