Turns out William Shatner can't make it to the funeral ! he's at a red cross charity ball on the other side of the country and won't make it back on time ! it is a prior engagement and is for charity so I think most people will let it slide

Leonard Nimoy was great, I still like seeing reruns of the "In Search Of" 70's series on YouTube.
They can bring that show back, but it wouldn't have the same feel without him.
It's like the new Cosmos, with out Carl Sagan, it's not the same. A new version can be good, but lack that unique, memorable experience.

Yes, I loved that show, too. However, as I grew older, I started to realize a lot of it was junk science, and that poisoned the memories.
