Everyone's heard about the live-action Hollywood adaptation of Kite, right?  I can't believe they made a movie out of this one, though from the trailer it appears they cut the lolicon stuff.  Interestingly Samuel L. Jackson plays a similar role in the action-comedy Barely Lethal, which looks similar to a gender-flipped, American version of Full Metal Panic.  Hopefully it's all one step closer to a live-action GSG.

Pretty much this.

I watched the trailer for Barely Lethal there too... unfortunately the trailer after was for Iron Sky Two, which had zombie Hitler riding a dinosaur, so I'm now distracted.

Yeah, it didn't grip me either, frankly, that's why I'm surprised they made it.

The question is, if Samuel L. Jackson has now been typecast as a Handler, who will he play in a live-action GSG?

Live action movie has much differencies from anime.
S. L. Jacson don't f**k girl, only feed her with drugs.
It is like brutal low budget action movie from 90-th.
