That's right. They handed over everything but London, didn't they, since they're starting to retire the 747-400 fleet so they have nothing with the legs (and four engines) to make the Continent non-stop.

Scuttlebutt around the sales office is some of QF's 787-9 purchase rights are about to come due and now that the airline looks a bit healthier, maybe they'll start exercising some. And if CASA really is about ready to relax their ETOPs regulations a bit, that might allow QF to restart CDG and FRA on their own metal rather than hand pax off at DXB to EK.

They're operating A380s but, without looking it up, I think those are put on the American and Asian routes. It'd be nice to see them with some 787s though.

A quick project for a design class I'm taking. She gave us 3 weeks to do this. I finished it in 35 minutes. This is why school in America sucks.

Well, if every teacher in school gave you a 35-minute assignment, it might take two weeks to do them all...

In total, there were four 2.5 hour classes that were devoted to this assignment. I finished it in the first class and just skipped the rest of the work periods. Flushing tuition money down the toilet 

Teaching pace geared to the slowest student, no doubt.

Dunno, my memory of uni was the lecturers deciding they had to fill all your time... which meant you got four subjects which technically required all your time.

@TTN... What was the assignment out of curiosity? If you seem to have completed it really early, I would highly advise going back to the marking criteria and ensuring you've covered all of it, or taking what you've done and then refining it with the spare time you have.

The assignment was to put an animals head on a humans body. While everyone else was using the eraser tool to trace out their animal head, I was actually making it look as legit as possible; layering hair over the clothing and behind the kitten head, texture filters, shadows etc. 

Its a beginner class, and I'm not really a beginner at adobe programs anymore. As I'm sure you know, part of being good at something is being able to do it not only well, but quickly. Time is money.

Ah, right. I was picturing something more along the lines of "design a poster", where they'd want to see thumbnails, design development, etc.

If this isn't a bad case of cultural dissonance and only examining one small part of the whole then I don't know what is. I bet this person is stuck on the cartoons/ comics are for kids mindset, and he is only looking at the more adult tittles found in anime/ manga.

Honestly, the show is dead to me now so I don't much matter who gets it since it will be a very different format from what has gone before (both because Clarkson and Wilman won't be writing and because BBC TV management hated the format so they'll be sure to change it - I'm guessing it will be more like the original show / Fifth Gear).

Fortunately, TG USA has really jelled over the past few seasons into a consistently entertaining show.

So this guy pulled a prank where he went around and told people they were friends on Facebook and they were invited to a party he was throwing, simply for the sake of making a painfully awkward situation for them. One of these poor souls happened to be my younger brother, he shows up at 2:24. I can't handle his reaction!

Indeed. This girl is a missing hairband and eye color swap to brown (and maybe a slight regression in physical stature... ) away from being a perfect match to Henrietta. I wonder what her personality is like, if it's anything like Henrietta's.
