Semester one for is over! Finally I get a break from university

Now I have so much free time I dont know what to do...

Thought I might as well post these random pictures I made for my one of my semster projects. They were really REALLY rushed. If the deadline didnt get extended I would've been stuffed.

Damn. This stuff looks as though it were prepared by a professional comic artist/writer...

The first picture reminded me of this painting of a jet firing its rocket to an enemy--its in the 'Britain: Be Inspired' advertisement. I don't remember what its called but its comic-like feature is very distinctive

The format also reminds me of the game 13 somehow

The one in the 3rd pic is a F-15. All the other American ones are F-18s, yes.

As for what happens to the guy on bingo fuel, I'll leave that up to your imaginations
But if you want me to make something up... I'd say the guy ejected, whipped out his MP7 and shot up the enemy cockpit, forcing the other pilot eject as well. A midair bitch slapping competition followed as they floated back to Earth.

Last assessment we had to study a Visual Langauge of our choosing. For this one, we had to create a series of images based on the style that we've studied.

The images could be about anything we wanted. But it had to communicates a message and/or evoke a reaction, and we had to talk about that in a designer statement. Man I stuffed that part up... I mean, how the hell am I supposed to say "These images are supposed to look cool" in a formal manner?!?! And what kind of reaction is that supposed to evoke? -.-

For my digital art class when I did Carolyn I had to explain about the same sort of stuff. I was frank about it. I basically said it was to make you go "Cool beans" and "I would hit it." Not exactly in those crude terms, but it got chuckles out of the class.

Maybe I should've done something like that instead of writing 500 words of BS

Nah. I was actually thinking of doing a GSG one but I never got around to it. Besides I suck at drawing people.
