Personally I'd be happy with a draft tap in my house. Stella Artois would be nice, but if I had to limit it to just one brew it would probably have to be Guinness.Kiskaloo wrote:

No matter how you feel about the last-minute completion of the facility...the track itself...or the long rain delay, the inaugural Korean Grand Prix will certainly be considered memorable.

Confirmed tifosi Kara & Michele have a lot to be happy about in recent weeks. Points leader Webber crashes out on 2nd actual race lap...his team-mate Vettel blows his engine in spectacular fashion later on. Ferrari's Alonso takes over the championship points lead.

I'm just happy to have gotten out of there alive.
I thought Silverstone in the wet was a traffic nightmare.
Certainly one for the history books, and not just because it was the inaugural race. I admit I was rooting for Webber, but at this point, I have to cheer for Alonso and the Scuderia.

Well it has to be doubly hard when you have James May pimping London Pride.

Have to say, what worries I had about the new series of Top Gear Australia are pretty much over. The cast has real chemistry right out of the bat and like TG UK in the third season, everything seems to be starting to jell.

The heavy accent from the singer reduces some of the mood behind the song. In addition, the Simon and Garfunkel version adds in some additional lyrics that I felt fit better with the situation faced by Claes.

Klapsons, the decor should match Monty nicely. I reccomend throwing on something laid back and Bossa Nova-ish for the full effect. "Off to Work" from The Incredibles soundtrack will do at a pinch.

Inside the main cafeteria.
Marisa: "Kara has been in the kitchen for hours."
Triela: "Is she making a special birthday dinner for Michele?"
Claes: "Michele's birthday is in June."
Nina: "Making a dinner for her handler. What is she? Six?"
Girls shoot her dagger looks and she slowly backs away.
Jay: "Maybe she's making a chocolate pie for Alpha?"
Triela fumes.
Rico: "I like pie!"
Allison: "I guess we'll find out eventually."
In the parking lot, after night has fallen.

I watched a little of the Dutch version of Top Gear on YouTube, wherein they embarked on a road trip of the USA. When Clarkson, May and Hammond go abroad, they have all sorts of kooky adventures and fun challenges. Their counterparts from the Low Countries...
...had a 0-60 speed test.
On a straight, flat empty desert road.
I think that they've missed the point.

Speaking of Top Gear, have to say I really like the new series of Top Gear Australia. They certainly have the "cocking about" part down now - something the first two seasons were very hit and miss on.
Though Allison will be disappointed they delivered pizzas in a Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 and not a Ute...
Claes: "Maybe that could be a way for Kara to help pay the insurance?"
Michele: "Uh, the kid's got a point there, Val."
Kara: "Stop encouraging her!"

One of Valve's three big surprises is going to be their announcement of a new GSG game, which will come out in 2014. The second surprise will be their partnership with NASA to develop a new steam-powered rocket engine, and the third, I'm not too sure of. Probably Portal 2 being pushed back.
