I would definitely watch a McDonald's themed anime about McDonald's workers that includes the cool manager(usually the closing one), the horrible manager(usually the morning one), the veteran, the rookie, the retiree who's only saving up for a new dirt bike so (s)he doesn't have to dig into his/her retirement(I have seen this happen personally), the college student, the high school student, and all the good customers(like the old timers who are there for the penny coffee(what is that like 10 yen? Kisk, please clear this up) who like to sit around and plot the end of the world situation and bad customers (like the Hawaiians who come in and are straight up jack-pissed that we don't serve Spam on the menu...yes, this actually happened when I worked at my local one).

Ok, so yeah, it's an ad for HP, and heavily dramatised. What I do like about this one however is that here we have a hacker exploiting the weakest link in most security systems: the people who use it. There's also an enjoyable lack of BS gibberish.

I'm getting to Mahou Sensei Negima based on a friend's recc. Anybody have any thoughts on it?

I was a fan of the manga until the final grand arc when they went to the Magical Realm and it turned into Kung Fu Battle of the Week.

As for the various anime adaptions, I liked the original try - Negima! - though it is a bit dull since it adopts the first couple of manga chapters where not much happened and had to come up with an anime-original ending since the manga was still being written.

I was less a fan of the retelling - Negima!? - mainly due to Shaft's animation sucking ass compared to the first series and the narrative having pretty much nothing to do with the manga.

Half way through the first season and I must say the shotacon is strong with this one and I'm not exactly sure how I feel about that.

Have just finished binge-watching Westworld. It's the kind of show where, having done that, you're ready to start from the beginning and watch it again.

The art is,... what can I say, it captured me the way author/artist Mr. Aida in the manga and the animation company Madhouse did when I first discovered Gunslinger Girl years ago.
The story is gripping and deep thought-provoking.
Ah but again the art, I have always focused on faces, which if done properly can be a world of their own, adding so much to a tale.
Trevino's work features expressions and emotion containing plenty of depth and emotional range, luring me in time after time without fail.
