the sheer stupidity of this question astounds me

Do people in England speak English?

cuz in the united states we speak american. how much different is american from english if the people in great england speak it? if great england is made up of norway, france, ireland, scotland, and britain, how come french speak france language and us americans speak american? im confused cuz i really want to read harry potter but it was written by a person from england and i dont speak english, i speak american. help!!

Rarely am I impressed by TV advertising. Even more rarely am I impressed by TV advertising that isn't in some way smart, clever, witty, funny or otherwise amusing.

However, every-so-often someone just gets it so right. Paces it perfectly, crosses all the i's, dots all the t's, lines the ad up with a brand's image and just makes the whole thing hang together so well...

Gotta say it: I like Virgin Australia's new image too. Gone is the budget feel, cheesy grins and "we're hot, young and fun-loving" message. It's now professional and classy but still maintains a fresh and casual overtone. I'll be interested to see what it's like in real life (pity my frequent flyers is with Qantas)...

Mate, this is the Virgin Group we're talking about. They're all about imagery. Remember the new Virgin Atlantic commercial I posted a couple months back? Smile

I've visited the Virgin Clubhouse at JFK (SQ used it for a lounge for their premium class customers), but never flown the airline.

Yeah...um, Avise might want to put some distance between him and the tent before trying that. Or at the very least make sure to confiscate all the girls' hunting knives beforehand. I imagine some of them might respond rather...violently.
