What would the girls like to listen to?

Hey, guys. It's been a while. I see you are all still genki, and I'm glad for you.

I've got the germ of an idea for a one-shot fan fiction. But, to pull it off, I need help from you guys.

We know that the girls like music. A number of us have even written fan fics to that extent. (Creative ZEN, anyone? ^_^)

But... I come to wonder...

What particular singer or band do you believe all the girls would really like?

By "all the girls", minimally I mean the Fab Five. Yes, Angie is included.

Please post your suggestions. The band or singer with the most number of votes after... say, two weeks, gets to be featured in my planned fic.

honestly, I'd always imagined it like this:

Angelica: probably doesn't have anything particular that she prefers. She'd most likely listen to and enjoy anything Marco had playing in his car (simply because it's his) or room. If truly left to her own devices, she'd probably fall in love with some boy-band pop schlock, though.

Triela: classical symphony. Hillshire seems big on educating her, and her musical education is most likely limited to great composers. Also, extremely busy people tend to listen to calmer music, and that's pretty much how I see her. Beyond that, I'd see her listening to popular music from the 60s. It was a softer way of expressing rebellion than our current stuff.

Rico: if she has any preference at all (and if Jean allows her to listen to anything he doesn't personally provide)... probably oldies (50s and 60s), maybe some old 20s swing, gypsy jazz... maybe even some folk. Also, if she was ever intruduced to it, ukelele music.
Basically: eccentric (for today), fairly simple, happy music.

Henrietta: much the same as Ange, but add in anything sappy and romantic that she runs across.

Claes: I see her as listening to nearly everything she can get her hands on, with a focus on classical symphony, and probably some of the more complex 80s stuff like Rush.

Well, if you view it that way... but then again, I doubt you could classify it as pre-anything, since people who can't so much as hold their wine are normally unlikely to end up alcoholics, potential or otherwise.

that still depends... I know a woman... very short, very petite... used to get floored by 2 beers. She can now drink me under the table. Raging alcoholic.

It’s really a cultural thing too. It’s not unusual at all for a thirteen year old to have wine with a meal in Italy. Hell, they can have it served to them in a restaurant if they are with and adult. It’s the same in several European countries.

Now we don’t know she was tipsy. It may just have been her bed time. I mean, a glass or two with food isn’t going to get anyone wasted. :dance:

Where does it come from? I must know. Also, could we make it one of our emoticons? As for what music the girls would like: they would probably all be able to agree on something from the romantic or classical periods (like Beethoven or Bach or something). I think most modern stuff they'd have too many differences to pick just one that they all like.

Well, Utada-nee is definitely awesome, but I have some reservations about Hamasaki. Though I will give Ayumi this: she looks good.
