Halloween is nearing

like i said in the title, this post is specially for the OC, with their Halloween dressup

as a start-

Yuki- well, she's a serious type of girl, so----strike witches cosplay! i'll dress her as Erica Hartmann LOL:

for the other, well...tey will be dressed as a Padanian zombies LOL ^_^

also for the twist, what will your OC handler will dressed up as?

Britney’s just got done ordering her costume. She’s going as a police officer this year.

I'm still not really convinced Emilie would participate Halloween but if she does, i guess this would be a costume for her:

Andromeda (if she didn't proclaim the idea stupid and leave) would go in her old 601st Pecial Forces Group BDU... or as one of the Ghostbusters.

Victoria may or may not go as Schrodinger, but it might be more natural for her to dress a Darwin.

Amusingly, TV Tropes claims that Japanese readers consider the character one of the clearest Western examples of a tsundere. Kind of makes me want to see someone try to do an anime adaptation of the series. Even if the results might not be pretty.

While it has been some time since having read The Belgariad, from what I recall of her character at least in the early books, Alfisti is spot on.

And probably rival Legend of the Galactic Heroes in number of episodes (especially if they include The Malloreon.

I wasn't saying he was wrong (Ce'Nedra as she was first introduced is a spoilt, arrogant, celf-centred little brat :p), I was just curious as to whether he'd read the books or was just guessing at her character type based on Mr. Anatonic's descriptor.

I haven't re-read The Belgariad in a long time either (with a few exceptions I haven't read any fantasy books in the last few years that weren't part of Terry Prachett's Discworld parody series). It was pretty much the first series of fantasy novels I really got into back around Grade Five or Six though. Maybe I should re-read them at some point.

And are you sure it wouldn't work as a two cour show? There are five books, but none of them is particularly long (Eddings originally intended it to be three books, but his publisher wasn't willing to publish it like that).

Actually, maybe we should start a seperate topic for this? It might be fun to discuss how an anime adaptation could butcher those novels. :p

Belgariad and The Malloreon back in primary school... but it's Ce'Nedra's early personality which sticks in my mind. I did however also read The Magician at approximately the same time, and occasionally get confused between the two somewhat similar stories

I wouldn't call her a tsudnere, she's an ass, but she doesn't do the sort of "It's not like I did it for you or anything" sort of stuff. Just plain bitchy.

No, The Magician was Raymond E. Feist; but was till a similar sort of storyline and setting (like, lets be honest here, quite a lot of fantasy). Honestly it's been ages since I read either... maybe it's time to pick them up again.

Jim walks along, minding his own business and eating his lunch; a barbecue sandwich. Suddenly he notices a downtrodden Jamiebel curb-croaking the fence.

Jim: (nervous; to Jamiebel) Um, hello? You still alive?

Jamiebel: (glares at Jim) Just barely. You forgot that the fridge was a desolate wasteland, didn't you, Touma?

Jim is confused. Suddenly, he has a little fear, as he knows what's happened, and what Jamiebel is implying.

Jamiebel: (glare intensifies) And you were gonna eat that sandwich all by yourself, eh?

Jim: (even more nervous) Uh, no, no, this isn't what it looks like at all...!

Jamiebel: (glare intensifies more) Oh?! Because it looks like you have food and I don't!

Jim chuckles nervously, almost to the point of blushing.

Jamiebel: (very angry) I'm hungry, do you hear me?! I'm hungry!! I'm hungry!!!

Jamiebel leaps onto Jim's back and starts biting his head. Jim accidentally tosses his sandwich, and screams out...
