Halloween at the Agency

Well, I had another fairly uneventful Halloween this year. I even wussed out at 8:00 in the annual "eat candy till you puke(figuratively)" tradition. I decided at that point that I simply could not eat anymore chocolate. Anyways, I figured that since we could use a new discussion topic, I thought a Halloween based discussion would be as good as anything. There are a few angles we could go at this from, but I settled on a question to get things started. Assuming the Agency let the girls celebrate Halloween, what do you think they would dress up as?

Personally, I kind of picture Rico dressing up as a pirate. Puzzled

The others are a little tougher for me. Triela might suit a spy, or agent of some sort, or maybe a robber. Henrietta and Angelica would probably go with something more feminine, like a princess, or mermaid. Claes is fairly cynical and anti-social, largely due to her isolation, so she doesn't strike me as the trick or treating type, even if the girls just walked around the agency. I like your idea Tross, but I see Triela dressing up as a spie or something while secretly wishing to dress up as a magical girl. I could see Rico dressing up as Jean, and Henrietta is definitely a princess. I could see Claes being convinced to dress up to either freak out or confuse everyone else.

But, I was thinking something more along the lines of Magical girl lyrical nanoha, or madoka magica.

Oh and Yomiko Readman would make the perfect costume for Claes.

Later, at the mess hall....
Rico: There she is!
Marisa: Hey ladies!
Ayden: I got some Mr. Choco bars I can bring as a donation!
Marisa: How long have they been in your pocket?
Ayden: Only a few hours, just since I completed the last mission where I was in chasing the RF in the sewers!
Marisa: Forget it!
Ayden: Sad

Marisa: Hey Rachel, you think Fernando will let us borrow Mister Skull?
Rachel: Doubt it, daddy thought ahead this year and locked it up in his cabinet.
Henrietta: Emilie, do you think we might have the seance in your ro-
Emilie: I think not, sorry.
Marisa: Actually, I was thinking of having it by the Agency's mausoleum!

Marisa: "I want to contact Elsa's spirit! We can ask her to knock from inside once for yes, twice for no and-"
Ayden: "....and three times for food!"
cyborgs= "Ayyyyden!"
Ayden: sweat

That night, the girls had to sneak out one by one, past the guards, cameras, trip sensors and other wacky devices finally arriving at the place where fellow members rest, hopefully in peace.
(or pieces in the case of poor Beatrice) sweat

The only sound was the wind, the branches with the leaves sweeping past the nervous girls and....... the occasional munch 'n' crunch of Ayden eating still more candy! Razz

Marisa: ok girls this is it. Elsa, your sisters are here!
Are you here?
(all the girls looked on with nervous anticipation.... listening........listening)
When all of a sudden, the reply came. LOUDLY!
"I'M IN HELLLLL!!!!!"
*all the girls="Ahhhhh!!!!"*
(They dash out of there with super human speed)
Olga: "See Ferro, we can still have fun on Halloween!"
Ferro: Laughing

That dastardly Hillshire. He can go as Moriaty(?) or maybe Steven Segal, he's got the hair for it.

I think Trilea might prefer to go as Saber though than a magical girl (bare in mind I haven't seen any magical girl series so I could be mistaken).

I actually agree with the other suggestions for Triela's costume so far. Triela would make a good magical girl. RoFL at Kiskaloo's pic. Halloween at the Agency 65220

I agree with Nachtsider that she would make a good Sailor Moon too. She has the right hair for it anyways. Halloween at the Agency 735198

And yes, she would make a good German beer girl. I could see Hilshire casually suggesting it. Halloween at the Agency 999463

Mr. Antonic brings up a good point too, that the handlers could also dress up(and we shouldn't leave out the other members of section 2). If Rico dressed up as a pirate, I could kind of see her making Jean dress up as a pirate captain. There's a frightening thought. Halloween at the Agency 21213

I can see why. She'd be great as Ferro. Halloween at the Agency 459784477

GSG would be the perfect series to adapt to a live action film. Heck, it's one of few cases where a Western adaptation would actually make sense, since it would make more sense to use North American or European actors than Japanese actors(no offense to the Japanese, but they don't look remotely White-European). If someone were to make such a film happen, I would die happy. Halloween at the Agency 249988

It wouldn't even need to be an amazing adaptation. As long as it wasn't horrible, I'd add it to my dvd collection.

The Japanese had better not touch it. I've seen Japanese cosplayers attempt to play GSG characters; if they're anything to go by, a Japanese production of GSG would be terrible on the eyes.

The only way a Japanese production could work is if they rework the story's events to take place in Japan. But then, it wouldn't be GSG anymore.
