Yup, same here. But I think I used the Cinnibar Island trick to get Tauros and maybe Chansey too.

The Cinnabar Island trick is a staple where it comes to the initial three versions. Anyone who claims they didn't resort to it at least once is a liar.

And the infinate Rare Candies trick is a staple too. Almost as much as the pokemon cloning trick.

Why the small text for Digimon and Ranma? I don't think there is anything wrong with watching those...even Pokemon. I admit I once knew the Poke Rap. Gawd the useless knowledge I once had...

Ranma 1/2 was the first anime that got me into anime over a decade ago. I remember going with my siblings one summer to every blockbuster/hollywood video within a 30 mile radius to rent any Ranma 1/2 videos we could find. Only watched the first few series since afterwards it got a bit boring and found better things to watch.

As for Digimon...


Back in the days when I had to brown paper cover my textbooks (as in HS), I was a Digimon Adventure fan and drew a Gomamon on my Chemistry cover. I thought it was cool, though I bet my classmates were weirded out.

My obession for digimon died out when i saw season 4. the thing just sucked like hell. People turning to digimon? WTF!!

I threw my emerald version away after it corrupted after i finished the elite 4

I still have my Nightmare Soldier with me - he's still fully active, and I take good care of him. He hardly gets any battling experience nowadays, though - nobody else seems to be playing with Digimon units anymore...

Yeah, season 4 was pretty lame from what I've seen of it, but the concept of biomerging is pretty cool since it still involves an actual digimon. And it was nice to see season 5 go back to its roots. *Realizes that I've still yet to watch any episode after 14* Fuck.

Oh, and that Gomamon picture is really good. I like how he's got glasses on.

I hated season 3 and 4. I've only seen 2 episodes of the 5th season and I'm trying to find all of them. I really like the 5th season, it has that old school 1st and 2nd season feel again. ^_^

I hate 3rd season the most... Digimon and cards... Ewwww... I hated the characters as well. *stabs Gillmon* >_< 4th season wasn't as bad, but I still hate it. sister used to watch it a lot and I couldn't watch it without feeling sick. @_@

First season of Digimon rocks!! I also love the 2nd season Balckwargreymon is the best villan ever! ^___^

I only watched the 1st and 2nd season of Digimon. The entire card thingy concept from Season 3 seemed lame so I stopped watching. If Season 5 is like the first 2 seasons, I think i'll give it a try since I loved the first 2 seasons.

with your comments, i guess i better see what season 5 is, my favorite was season 2 though, since it was a continuation of season 1 and the fact that blackwargreymon rocked like hell

Oh man, is it the digivolving one? I think I have the exact same one.

I actually liked the concept of the cards in season 3 though. It allowed the tamers to get into the fight more. They were able to help instead of just standing on the sidelines and cheering, and making the occasional digivolution of course. Plus, Guilmon with a hyperwing card looks sick.

Sadly, no. It's one of those small figures. I have the digivolving Wargreymon though! (And a digivolving Wargerymon and Metalgarurumon to make Omnimon)

I have the digivolving Omnimon, but it's missing some of the Metal Garurumon parts so I have to keep it in Omnimon mode so the missing parts aren't noticable. My Blackwargreymon is complete though.

NHK ni Youkoso!! That's a good one...I just remembered it somehow :p


...btw, anyone here read that? In volume 4 *I think*, there's a parody of Gunslinger Girl--most notably Rico. Have to check it again

I've watched 3 seasons of 2 anime in about 5 days. 

I watched the first season if Squid Girl. I thought it was cute, but the puns got old really fast (and I love puns) and the characters weren't that endearing. I didn't hate it, but I probably wouldn't watch it again. 

I watched both seasons of Haganai. I saw an adorable figure of Yukimura and finally decided to watch it. I went in thinking it was going to be a fansevice harem anime and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't. Sure it did have it's moments where I said "WHY???"   But overall I enjoyed it. The characters were engaging, intelligent, and had many layers to their personalities. Some of the things that were said really made me smile. Yukimura, Kodaka, and Sena are my faves. (I wanted to punch Yozora in the teeth SO MANY TIMES) I would defiantly watch it again.

I'm 9 episodes into Nichijou and I LOVE it. Mio is the best!! XD

I loved Squid Girl / Shinryaku! Ika Musume. It's slapstick, and for me, slapstick never gets old.
