Your "Anime Self"
This a thread of Characters similar to yourself, In appearance or personality. Similar to what this guy did on Youtube. and know, you don't have to do the thing with making your name out of a character's name.
Anyway, here I am:
And this is Makoto Itou from School Days with his hair recolored to shades similar to mine:
And there is what I might look like in an anime or, at least his hair messy like mine and his face is as close to similar in shape as a real person and an anime character's faces can be. Of course, Unlike Makoto, I haven't met a one girl who is attracted to me, let alone 3 or 4. Then again, I'm pretty sure I'll never end up with a blade between my ribs either...
Then there's Jun Kitagawa of Kanon:
I think his luck with women is about what I have, and the scenes above remind me of me in high school (but I'd rather not talk about how much high school sucked for me). Still, in what was originally an eroge, and he still doesn't get any action...

Re: Your "Anime Self"
closest I've seen in looks: Marco Toni (no need to post another pic, just look at my avatar).
for attitude... I'm a little like Marco in terms of how I deal with people... 'cept I'm not hotheaded and I generally refuse to commit to social arrangements... also, I'm a total techie geek. I'm more comfortable talking about electronics, cars or guns than literature, music, art or people.
as for luck with women... I still haven't seen any form of media that portrays human relations realistically.

Re: Your "Anime Self"
I would be one of those random add in characters that die and are expendable.
a person who is quiet around people has social anxiety dosent talk to people very openly. mostly honest about unimportant matters sits around a computer playing games and watching anime. when push comes to shove I get things done.
......oh god.....I think Im like Nagi sanzenin!! No way am I a loli!!!!
well unlike a loli I am physically able and get stuff done and I go outside!
I can't think of an anime charachter I look like.

Aww... Triela was so cute!!
So what happened? ::ducks::
And why is Adam going for the Boy George vote?
As for myself... Er... I guess Sumiyoshi from Excel Saga is the closest yet, hence my avatar, though I don't have a cute, younger sister and I don't have his dimensions, thank God. Though if I have any more of these macaroons that are in front of me, I probably will.

Also, as for School Days, at least it sends a better message about how to treat women than any harem anime, even if it is a little extreme...If you cheat on you girlfriend, she will kill you!!!
Also, while looking for some pics for my anime self, I found these demotivational poster-worthy pics.
The second one might be NSFW (fanservice breast shot, no nipples, just some curves.)

Wow. I had no idea Kotonoha was THAT well-endowed.
Where I'm concerned, I really don't know if I look like any anime character. Maybe I'll have you guys decide for me:
Last, but certainly not least. Loli Triela and shota Tsun totally need their cheeks pinched.
...
I'll get my coat.

Re: Your "Anime Self"
I'm a 5'11, 170 pound Asian guy. In other words, you can barely get any more average in build than I am. Plus, taking account any anime that takes place in Asia based around young adults, and I'd probably look like any one of them as long as they had black hair.
Personality would thin the herd, but I'm too lazy at the moment to go sifting through that.
P.S. That young Triela picture is adorable.

Dude, I'm in the same exact boat and having spiky hair doesn't help either, but they're natural dammit; it's not like I spend hours in the bathroom getting them to look right!

Re: Your "Anime Self"
Keiichi Maebara from Higurashi. I could probably cosplay him relatively easily. Might need to play around with my hair a bit...
There, somebody I don't need to dye my hair to look like.
@rusty and Toma: But then, there are a lot of anime characters that do not have black hair, perhaps even most of them in fact (in spite of the fact that most Japanese people have black hair). Unfortunately, one of the ones you would look like is the original, black haired Makoto.... although I would hope you would have the sense to stay with only one girl.... (especially when the alternative is catching a blade in your chest).

Count yourselves lucky, at least you hair's manageable: if I don't keep mine in check I wind up looking like James May.

That pic does deserve a cheek pinch. But remember, when it happens you have to say “EEK!’ like Henrietta did in the manga.Triela wrote:Hmmm for me... I think I look most like Mizuki from Hana-Kimi and Henrietta when I was little.

Re: Your "Anime Self"
Another one for my manga self: Kouta Hirano of the manga Highschool of the Dead. I'd say Kouta Hirano is more like me right now: More than a bit nerdy, and with a serious interest in firepower... His actions are probably what I'd do in a zombie apocalypse: Find the nearest automatic weapon ASAP... of course, in the mean time, instead of a nailgun, I'd probably end up using an axe, a couple knives, and Molotov cocktails...

Haven't read it yet, but from what I see the artist is a gun nut. I mean, from that drawing you can practically identify the gun

Actually, it looks more like an M110 SASS (maybe I'm wrong, but I think the M110 came out after this chapter was published). But hey, they're all using the same damn platform.

As a Cat of Many Talents, I think the lead character of What's Michael? would be appropriate for me.
I can't find any images from the anime, so I am using the manga.

In the manga it is stated that the weapon was first mistaken for a Knights SR-25 without its supressor then it was noted by a charachter that they are unobtainable in japan and that it was actually a modified AR-10 DMR
