How's the weather where you are at?

Ended up being a very sunny and warm day here in Seattle.

Well the Fire Marshalls will be happy since it's started pouring. Not even going to bother DVRing the fireworks show.

On the plus side, should be a quiet night, now.

We've had rain everyday for a week - it's been the best weather we've ever had this time of year. I wish I had a chance to blow stuff up this year. *sigh*

And true to form, it being the first day after the Independence Day weekend, we have clear and sunny skies with temps around 80 degrees F here in Seattle. Rest of the week will be sunny with temps in the high 80's to low 90's.

Note it rained on July 4th (Sunday) and yesterday it was overcast and in the mid-60's.

The storms in the Gulf have meant rain every single day here in Louisiana...the last 3 times I've gone out on the motorcycle I've come home soaked.

The rain has kept things cool though; it's only 86 degrees (30 celsius).

Still high 90's, high 80's in the house. Apparently some time this afternoon (around 2-ish) the outside AC unit failed while the furnace blower kept recycling air from the first floor intakes. Repair guy will call in the morning and hopefully get the system running again.

Sunny and 20° cooler than yesterday.

hot... this is one of the hottest parts of the country.

It is significantly more mild now, which is nice.

86 F here, with 50% humidity. Might rain this week. Might rain next. Don't bet on it, it's Ohio, so you never know.

I've been cowering in my room with the AC set at 76F, and I'm freezing at times, then I bake when I leave the room.

Actually, after miserably uncooperative weather yesterday the wind, seas and current gave my vessel a half-hour respite this morning to get a critical part of our job done.

Too hot.

Sunny and 73F here in beautiful Nevada City, CA.

So after giving us overcast with mixed rain and drizzle for Seafair Weekend (made watching the Blue Angels impossible except via HDTV), Mother Nature has now given us clear, dry and hot for this weekend.

First we're in drought, now we're in flood... for a period there last year parts of the country were managing to do both at once... go figure.

Why can't we find a happy medium?

After a monsoon Saturday rained out F1 qualifying in Suzuka, the weather was gorgeous for qualifying and the race on Sunday and it looks like the plane brought it with me to Seattle, as friends tell me it's been raining solid for a few days, but now it's sunny as we touched down at SEA this morning.

After starting the week in the high 70's, the temperature suddenly dropped down to the mid 50's yesterday. Ah, Chicago.

Yay, we're flooded... again. Well, not me in particular (we live on a hill) but south east Queensland-ish. They were expecting flooding in the city yesterday through a combination of a king tide and the rivers being in flood in places already.

This time last year our dams were down at 8% capacity... now we've got the flood gates wide open, go figure.

Cloady no sunshine high humidity

Calm seas, with just enough of a breeze...high 70's Fahrenheit.

I had to climb the main mast of my ship this afternoon; I felt like bringing a drink & staying up there all day.

Swinging around in the bosun's chair... well, enjoy it! The last time I had to do that it was during a Force 7 to slot back one of the sail's battens which had worked loose in the chop and got caught in the shrouds, stopping us from reefing... it was a bit fresh, to say the least.

Woke up to 37° F this morning.

Traded heavy rains in South Korea for heavy rains in Seattle - with the added bonus of high winds and expected lightning.

A rainstorm has chased away the seasonably cool weather we've been having... the bastard sand-fleas and mosquitoes are LOVING it.

I want my sub-70 temperatures back! *harumph*

(Mind you, it's the tiniest of flurries, but still...)

High 70's Fahrenheit with the occasional thunderstorm...honestly I was expecting to get murdered by heat and humidity just 3 degrees South of the equator but it's been genuinely pleasant.

Snow started falling within the past half hour.

It's snow-TACULAR here. Or at least it's forecasted to be. And it better!

Was chatting with some suppliers in Brisbane today and they remarked the weather was batsu.

No more snow here, but it remains below freezing.

weathers coming from the arctic,the snows mostly hitting the north and east,the rest of us have it easier,only about an inch of snow, night time temps down to a balmy -5c to -10c here,paris got down to -18c

It snowed last night over here. I hate snow. And it's still snowing right now...

The worst part? This is just the beginning of December. Assuming it keeps snowing, I'm going to have to deal with it until at least March. Well, I guess that's something to look forward to.

Snow. Been snowing lightly for the past two days and NOAA says we're in for another five inches between the next two. Hope they're wrong.

Freezing fog

A little chilly... think it hit 27 F last night. I actually had to put my jacket on. *grins*

Warm, muggy, raining.

Clear and cold. I like sitting out on the deck (in cold weather gear) looking at the stars and smelling the smoke from all the wood fires.

Looks like a squall coming in from the east.
