Weed is like the iceing on a cake at a party. ofcourse, its never smart to smoke weed when you are deprest or in a bad mood, because it only boosts the mood your in.
In addition, while you are stoned, your pain tollerance will be that much higher. which is one of the reasons why I smoke weed from time to time.

I used to prefer acid - that stuff's more harmless than weed, and far less toxic. But hey - anything that floats ya boat.

A skins party isn't a nudist affair, Sin, although drunken revellers do sometimes streak about naked - it's more like a huge affair where people just go batshit crazy, bong and booze to the max, indulge in loads of wild debauchery and more often than not end up wrecking the party venue. Damage report:

Today was peobably the best day of the trip. My friends and I took our jetskis (and some other guys followed us as well) and we created a sort of convoy to Arizona. Tokk about 2 or so hours of riding on the jetskis to get there, and man the middle of the lake is the scariest place to be even when on a jetski.

Anyways, after hanging out in Arizona for a bit and refuling, we headed back, but came across this 100 yard long barge that was just FULL of partying people. We were invited and party ensued, lol.

Heading back tomorrow.

Total drank: Can't remember
Total smoked: a little over 1/2 lbs of marijuana, countless cigarettes
Total amount spent: Probably ~$250
Total amount of fun: Priceless

Total amount of pain & regret later: unimaginable

since it only cost him around $250, I doubt there'll be much pain or regret. contrary to what the fundamentalists will tell you, soft drugs such as alcohol and THC don't really screw you up more than a simple hangover or cottonmouth, unless you drink/smoke them very consistantly.

I totally understand your point of view, Panzer. The way I see it, however, is that marijuana is like an alcoholic drink. It's appropriate to have some in moderation, but irresponsibility turns it into a dangerous substance.

I was irresponsible this past week. Luckily nobody was hurt.

That said, I had a hell of a time at Lake Mead. Even watched a few episodes of GSG via projector with a bunch of people during down time. It'll most likely be the last time I ever smoke and drink that much again (Being numb for 5 days straight is kinda nerve wrecking), but that doesn't mean I won't have the occasional bowl or drink once in a while.

It's great to hear that you had a fun time in Lake Mead during your spring break. Also great no one got hurt since that would spoil the fun.

Sometimes it's when you overdue yourself is when you realize you never want to smoke/drink that much again. As long as you make it out alive, you'll always have a chance to learn from it.

Not that I know of, no.

I usually went out at night AFTER I finish my part-time shift (4PM-6PM). Then I'll hung around for awhile in Akihabara or Shibuya until 7, then I'll head home.

Or, I'll head home immediately when I'm buried with work.
