If anything, the usage of 'band' makes this poster seem TOO derivative. The postures of the Witches should be enough to portray the homage.

Well, if you can't beet 'em, join 'em, right? Still doesn't have the same righ to it, though. I mean, those who have seen the Japanese version of the show remeber of the pronounced Strike Witches (Strike-ah V-itchs), Band of Witches would keep the same amount of syllables where as Coven of Witches adds and extra syllable, thus making it sound different... I forgot where I was going with this .

The Focke Wulf Ta-152 C-1, could possibly have been the fastest single engine Fighter of WWII had Kurt Tank been supplied with the Daimler-Benz 603 Engines. Wierd how 603's were "Not available in quantity" for the 152 but was supplied in enough numbers to allow the production of the Do-335 which used two of them.
