Thats lovely

what if i made a really annoying animated wallpaper of that like really slowed down.

I would have the pencil just slowly turning maybe have some change to the trail behind it. and id have the two figures running. but really slow and id have to try to keep annoying bits out that would mess wiht my desktop.

I need sleep then ill think of this again and attempt

Despite the awesomeness of Cassandra, I decided to switch to a more mellow, classy looking background. We'll see how long this one lasts, I tend to go through backgrounds like "tissues at a snot party."

(Bonus points to anyone who knows where that quote comes from Razz

Well the only thing that it could get in the way of is the 3 icons i
keep in the top left corner...any maybe the sidebar(but even that i can
make be gone). Everything else i keep in the dock.

done,

1. i don't live at home i live in a dorm
2. my laptop does not leave the dorm unless i need go to a net cafe
3. net cafe and dorm is mostly comprised of guys

She's one of the Soul Society lieutenants, isn't she? The one who goes around on the back of that Soul Society Captain.

Honestly, once Rukia was captured and scheduled for execution in the first season, my interest in the show waned something fierce because she was never in any episodes and it just became the same "chop-sockey kung fu" that Ranma 1/2 became from Season 2 on after they fired the original writing staff. So once Cartoon Network put it on hiatus to wait for new episodes, I stopped watching and never came back.

I try to stay up to watch that stuff but my mom makes me go to sleep. Most of the time i'm just too tired to stay up. Back in 7th grade I stayed up till 2 and woke up at 5 or 6, but I can't do that anymore.

I stopped watching Bleach after it turned into DBZ powerlevel nonsense. Never saw it in English, just some fansubs back in 2005-6.

I found it on the Funimation Solty Rei site. I'm on a mission to find one I saw of Accela and Solty on the DVD I have. ^_^

I think all the girls from R.U.C are pretty. My cousin, Matt likes Celica the best. (One on the left next to Accela)

I haven't made mention of this before now, but for literally the past year I've been using a broken computer. I don't have a desktop PC and instead use a high-end laptop for everything from spreadsheets to t3h vidya - only the screen was damaged and so I've been alternately squinting through green hazes, grey fogs, or having half of the screen's vertical scanlines be missing. Visibility was enough to get by when using Word, which was the most important thing, but as you might anticipate it was something rather wearing on the eye.

Finally, though, I've upgraded to a snazzy new model and with that I'm blessed with a bright, unblemished screen - after a year of barely being able to make out words sometimes the surge in sharpness and clarity is astonishing and delightful. In my old computer I just used a plain blank background, but I've opted to celebrate my new acquisition with an actual image now:

Booting up to soppy romance. I must be getting soft... Ah well, there's a pleasing watercolour background and the palette complements the toolbar colour too!

Anyway, the picture itself is from Otoyomegatari by Kaoru Mori - you might know her better from her series of high Victoriana, Emma (an original story - if a fairly well-worn one about love crossing class boundaries, etc. etc. etc. - and not an adaptation of the Austen novel). I'd say that her mangas are worth your attention - romances might not be to everyone's taste and they're not my usual repast either, but nonetheless she invests truly tremendous detail into her art, and she's made total authenticity and fidelity as her defining trait. For those who want it the neat image can be found here.

In the middle of a move (not that I went anywhere, just relocated a bunch of stuff within the house), and I made the decision to put my desktop within reach of my new roommates (my brother, his wife and kid)... so no more controversy or sex in my backgrounds. Sad

on the up side, I have a bunch more living space.
