I just finnished watching Street fighter 4: The legend of Chun-Li.

It was entertaining to watch, though it sucked as far as Street fighter canon goes.

That and There is no casting of Cammy or Chun-Li's paired character Colonel Guile.

And this Gen Character? In Street Fighter Canon, Shadeloo doesn't leave deserters, they kill them.

Deadpool was the guy with the swords right? I thought it was pretty awesome, as well as REALLY creepy. ;_;

I loved the movie and I don't think the reviews are giving this film the right response. I think this film can easily stand up the other X-Men movies as well as other hero movies like The Dark Knight. In fact I might like it even better.

Yeah, he was the guy with the swords and no mouth. He was nothing like the amazing character he's like in the comics. T_T

well it's because they combined deathpool and weapon XI as one character, that's not suppose to be the case, i mean Katanas coming out of his hands WTF!!

i've seen this before, the comic was great(or something before the turn it into live-action film)
then the movie hit the cinema,"hey, why is the [character one] like that, unlike the original one?"
or
"why is the plot like this?" and blah-blab-blah the long list

more like the budget can't cut it, or the original was too great that nothing in live-action capacity can produce

well they needed to give wolverine an ultimate upponent, and they needed to give deadpool more screen time after not coming during the entire "present day period" of the movie, so why not make deadpool weapon XI and make him grow katanas out of his fists and shoot optic blasts out of his eyes!... seriously if they just made wolverine fight deadpool from the comics it would have been way cooler.

I enjoyed it, but then again, when I watch any sort of adaptation, I always watch it with the idea that it WON'T be the same as the source. Plus, Deadpool was really snarky and hilarious in the beginning, so I give him some credit.

What makes Byousoku 5 Centimeter / 秒速5センチメートル / 5cm per Second so popular?

It's a film by Makoto Shinkai, who is an amazing animator and story-teller. And he hits another home run with this one. Incredible art. Solid story (even if it's melancholy like most of his stuff) and Tenmon delivers another epically good soundtrack.

But they even explained that, noting that the movie takes place in an alternate timeline/universe.

Personally, I think it would have worked better just as a pure reboot of the franchise, but by establishing it as separate from everything that went before it, it frees itself of all the baggage the "canon" universe has collected as the TNG and Enterprise universes re-wrote the TOS one bit by bit.

As a Treknical geek, I didn't have to try and rationalize any of it, but instead just take it purely at face value. Which was rather nice for a change. dancin\\'
