after learning a few tricks for saving oneself, Link has become obsolete for me. My three heaviest hitters are now Ike, Kirby, and Snake. For quicker characters, it's MetaKnight and Marth. Oh, and I have a ton of fun playing as Peach. I only rarely win with her, but many of her moves are simply hilarious.

oh, and the Kirby from that comic is awesome, Tommy.

You serious!? Link is still my main. I don't care if he's a bit slower now, it's still my Link.

I've been trying to beat up Sonic ever since I unlocked him cuz I hate his guts, but it's hard to do it with a slow character. Sometimes I win, sometimes he wins. I WILL be able to win all the time though cuz Link's the best! >_<

I managed to get myself some time play the game just the other day. I felt really disappointed tell you the truth. The controls just didn't make sense to me. It was like they forgot they had a Wii controller. I understand it, but if that was the route they wanted to go I would be happier with a gamecube controller.

?_? I use the GameCube contorller all the time. I hate using the Wiimote to play Brawl.

Well, i dont really know where the guy who showed it to me. but its actualy intented as a running gag with a scene in the Hellsing manga.

Yeah but we only had Wii controllers. Besides it's smacks of bad game design to me.

it's more along the lines of a niche market. fans of the original Super Smash Bros for N64 always seem to come back. If they had actually tried incorporating the Wiimote's features into the game, I'd have been pissed. As it is, the Wii classic controller is the way to go for me. I always hated the gamecube controller's configuration (and the N64's, actually)... the SNES control scheme wasn't broke (and I wish I could plug this controller into the Wii, I have 4 of 'em)... why the hell did they try to fix it?

ehh, I enjoyed Super Smash Brothers a ton. What I played of brawl hasn't brought that feeling back. It feels like the controls, but it might also be the environment. What ever really, I don't think I'll be playing much of it.

My cousin was over for a week with her wii for spring break needless to say I am quite currently sick of hearing brawl sounds/music at the moment. ><

Right now I'm mostly using Fox, until I get bored and use someone else. We almost always all play as Capt. Falcon and Falcon Punch the hex out of each other, along with edge-hogging and blowing up any non-invincible hogger.
My best character in Brawl is Dedede, 2nd is probably Lucas.
My best in Melee is Jiggles.
