Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Well the roser is confirmed and it's coming out tomorrow in Japan... It's been delayed till March 9th here and it makes me want to kill myself in anticipation.

Is anyone else as excited as I am? ^_^ I pre-ordered it a loooong time ago. I can't wait to play as the new and Twilight Princess improved: Link! <3

I'm looking forward to it. Sonic and Snake are going to be great.

Eh, to each his, or in your case her, own. Personally, I'm going to love beating the snot out of Mario with Sonic. Then again, I grew up with Genesis, so yeah.

Yeah! I dont' like Mario. I don't like anyone from the Mario series in fact (Yoshi included) I also don't like Donkey Kong characters or the Pokemon characters. (Though I'm SOOOOO EXCITED that I can play as Charizard) =D

I don't think Mr Game and Watch, Ice Climbers, or ROB should have been added. They took away precious spaces for other characters. ;_;

I´m still wondering what the hell R.O.B is doing there, it´s like they´re trying to compensate the fact that it was one of the worst periferals in gaming history.

By the end of the day, they´ll be able to say that R.O.B made money!!

I´m aching to play with Sonic, Pit, Meta knight and Zero Samus.

I also want to play as ZSS. I wish we could just pick her on the selection screen like Squirtal/Iyvysaur/Charizard and Zelda/Shiek. I'm not that good with Samus, but ZSS looks like tons of fun! ;_;

Pretty much, i´m glad they didn´t change him. He was perfect from the start. Can´t wait to use his smash move.

Oh, i also want to try Ganondorf, i heard they completely changed his character not to be a Falcon clone.

I want to use his smash move too! ^__^ A lot of people didn't like it, but I think it's amazing!

Yeah Gannondorf's moves look nice from what I saw in a Toon Link vs. Gannondorf fight on youtube. Also Marth got some new moves. Awesome! ^___^

Anyways, I enjoyed the N64 version of Smash Bros. but the fandom got kinda shitty when SSBM came out. Annoyed me to the point of hating the game.

Yeah a lo of the fans became too... (of a lack of a better word atm) overprotective of their characters. IGN smash boards is awful...

That single player adeventure mode looks interesting. And It's nice to see Marth is still around, I feared they dropped him (and Roy) in favor of the other guy.

Ike doe look awesome and I played better with Roy, but Marth does look amazing (and might I say more girly looking) =^_^=

My cousin told me tha there's a rumor that you can turn into ZZS by holding the R button, just like in Melee when you had to keep pressing the A button for Sheik. Do any of you know if this is true?

I often played using Roy myself (that is why I suck) but I hear Marth is very powerful if used correctly. I heard there was this guy who used Marth to sweep a few pro tornaments easily.

Still, I'm more of a Link player (cheap grabs using hookshot), so alot of my old gambing buddies hate me for that.

As for the rumor... well, I'm just as clueless as the next guy. Sorry.

Marth is powerful, in fact all character can be deadly if used right (besides Pichu in Melee) >_<

I was disappointed seeing Toon Link's final smash is the same as TP Link. Since Toon Link is from Wind Waker they could have done something compleatly different. That was a let down...

Ummm yeah he was one of the first characters to be announced in Brawl months and months and months ago. ^_^;;

honestly, I think the Wii would work better for that sorta game... they already have a cursor system with the Wiimote (best console system ever for shooters, I just need some sorta omnidirectional treamill-type-thing for movement, a rifle-shaped wiiblaster, and... I guess a button on the rifle would suffice for a stand/crouch/prone button)...
wouldn't be terribly difficult to revamp the old PS2 games and port 'em over. They might have a problem aquiring the license and marketing it though...

on topic: just got Brawl as well, and so far, my favorite character is MetaKnight. Pit is alright as well... I'm still best with Link, but he's kind of a cheater stick, and therefore he gets boring... Ike is fun, too... but not near mobile enough. Oh, Bowser's still right up there... but much the same as Ike.

I know it would be amazing but I don't think Nintendo could get the rights. ;_; Ah well I have it so I'm ok with it! ^_^; ^o^

i was just trying to say that instead of making the game like time crisis they could make the GSG version of Wii play like the following:

maneuver with nunchuk
use the wiimote to move the gun
use A to aim the gun
use B to fire
the rest of the buttons could be for other options... maybe cool maneuvers or something

Yeah, any modders to do so? Not only the licensing, the models, the designs...just too much. Besides, the graphic is too realistic--Crysis and Gunslinger Girl do not mix. I check modders DB and see the Jurassic Park mod is having the problem with licensing.

Besides, there's too much flaws in total conversions--a smooth conversion usually took too much time with all the 'versions' along with the memory it took on the PC is just too much. Consoles are the way to go!

OMG! Be Henrietta (or the handler in the street) and roam around the street of Rome (with Giuseppe following close by)! Shoot civilians (bad girl)! Or shoot Padanias (good girl)! Climb pipes, go after side missions, or return to the dormitory to pick another girl! Create havoc or create peace!

And most importantly, fight with canon characters of the Padania faction or pair with another girl in a mission! Two player compatible!

...now that I think about it, a PS3 version of it wouldn't be too bad...

after learning a few tricks for saving oneself, Link has become obsolete for me. My three heaviest hitters are now Ike, Kirby, and Snake. For quicker characters, it's MetaKnight and Marth. Oh, and I have a ton of fun playing as Peach. I only rarely win with her, but many of her moves are simply hilarious.

oh, and the Kirby from that comic is awesome, Tommy.

You serious!? Link is still my main. I don't care if he's a bit slower now, it's still my Link.

I've been trying to beat up Sonic ever since I unlocked him cuz I hate his guts, but it's hard to do it with a slow character. Sometimes I win, sometimes he wins. I WILL be able to win all the time though cuz Link's the best! >_<

I managed to get myself some time play the game just the other day. I felt really disappointed tell you the truth. The controls just didn't make sense to me. It was like they forgot they had a Wii controller. I understand it, but if that was the route they wanted to go I would be happier with a gamecube controller.

?_? I use the GameCube contorller all the time. I hate using the Wiimote to play Brawl.
