Henrietta-Left for dead after the brutal murder of her family, during which she herself was assaulted, Henrietta suffered severe psychological trauma, making her suicidal. Like the other cyborg-girls, she was brainwashed into forgetting these events by a technique known as conditioning. Henrietta is devoted to her handler, Jose Croce, towards whom she has strong feelings. She even shows signs of jealousy when she feels Jose is paying attention to other women. He encourages her to share his interest in astronomy which she passes on to the other girls. Jose even gives her a diary, but this causes her distress when, as a result of the long-term effects of the conditioning, she begins to forget the events she noted in the book. Henrietta's preferred weapons are the SIG Sauer P239 Two-Tone, the Fabrique Nationale P90 PDW, and the FN FAL. She and her handler have also used the Walther WA 2000 sniper rifle and Ingram MAC-10.

Rico-Confined to a hospital by severe birth defects, Rico was signed over by her parents to the SWA on her eleventh birthday. Rico loves her new body and life at the SWA, viewing each day as a blessing and maintaining a happy disposition. Rico appears to be the only cyborg with a clear memory of her life before coming to the SWA.[2] Rico's preferred weapons are the CZ-75 pistol and the Dragunov SVD. In chapter 79 she wields a FN SCAR with a CQC barrel and chambered in 7.62 NATO. She has also been shown wielding a Beretta SCP-70/90 and is additionally shown training with a SIG SG 551 carbine and a Benelli M4 Super 90 shotgun. Her preferred support weapon is the MG 3 general purpose machine gun.

Kiyra- One of the youngest cyborgs to work for the SWA. She lived with an adopted family in Shinjuku, Japan for a year and a half after being nearly killed by her parents for her abnormal skills. Kiyra’s right arm is possessed by the demon Vriail though she rarely chooses to use it. It is this demon spirit that prevents the conditioning from erasing her memory. Her preferred weapons are the 2011 update P90 and katana.

Ryu- became a half demon after performing necromancy out of pure curiosity. He is Kiyra’s first and closest friend. A silent loner at heart, he chooses to avoid being noticed, content with sitting in the corner with a book and music. He is often seen ominously striding through the battle field with his sword on his pack and gun at his side. He is often seen with a modifies wrist mounted CAW M134 Minigun, naginata and zanbatou. He is sometimes seen with Fabrique Nationale P90 PDW and katana.

I’m kind of thinking that Jean would be none to crazy about the idea of any of his girl’s using swords.

I don't see why not. I mean, having them running around lopping people's heads off with swords has to be more efficient and cost-effective than them running around beating people's faces in with their fists. Eventually, both are going to need to be replaced through simple wear-and-tear and a sword is just far cheaper than new hands.

And then, of course, there is the undeniable psychological effect of having a 12-13 year old girl come running at you, screaming wildly and waving a sword over her head.

I imagine it's the same when you have a 16-17 year old girl doing the same.

i think i'd soil myself if anyone came running at me with a sword if i was unarmed...
