Hi there! My name is (if you couldn't guess) Jenifer, and I'm new to the forums. I can't believe I'd never found this place before ;.; But I'm really glad I have now.

I'm 22 years old and in college, but when my boyfriend and I aren't studying, we've been RPing our own GSG storyline since mid-2007. Because its gotten so far and it would be difficult for he and I to separate our OCs from that storyline, we won't be bringing them here to save you guys the confusion, lol. But assuming he'll join the forums, we'd love to play with you too! Though I do have to ask one question based on the character profiles I've seen: are we supposed to play the pair of doll/handler, or can one person play the doll and another play the handler?

And as for the obligatory question: Rico. I think because Jean was such a jerk to her, I always felt sympathy for Rico and loved her best.

Having one person play the handler and one the cyborg sounds like an excellent idea to me.

If you're referring Piero's RPG, then yes, two people can play the two parts of one fratello. Speaking of which, we have openings in the RPG at the moment that we are trying to fill. See this thread for details. *excitedly pushes toward the RPG section of the forum*

Sadly, none of what I've done is listed at FF.net. I'm going to date myself here, but I stopped using FF.net years ago when they axed the NC-17-rating, lol. It wasn't because I used that rating frequently, but I didn't think it was fair; after that, R-rating became inundated with porn but without the pop-up warning, which I just plain didn't like.

Where I do have everything stored is here:My Writing LiveJournal. I have my personal LJ too, but everything I write is stored on this one. So far, the only thing not related to my GSG RP is a Fire Emblem fanfic that I didn't finish. I do want to make one big disclaimer about everything on there: we've been playing this for about 3 years, so its really far outside of the original Gunslinger Girl canon right now. But if you're curious, brave, or bored enough to read through 1.5MB of just text, here's the First Season and the Second Season. We're still playing the 3rd season right now, but we're getting close to being done. Still debating on whether the 4th season will be the last or not.

Edit: And if you do read the RP logs, 'HyperFlowerzJena' is myself while 'PurAzNSoulja' is my boyfriend.....shut up, these are the screen names we made about ten years ago, unnecessary Z's and wEiRd capitalization was the style at the beginning of the millenium, lol. If you want to contact either of us, both screen names are still active, but we're trying to transition to the slightly less silly screen names of 'ThePeridotDoll' (me) and 'ThePaperSon' (him). I'm trying to convince him to join the forums too, but after years of AIM RP where only two people are involved and the response is instant, he's hesitant to get into forum RP.

While it was important to character development, I regret that Kev and I focused mostly on Reise and Lauretta rather than interaction with the original GSG fratello units, so I will admit both of us find ourselves going, "Wait, how did that relate to the other girls again?" Sadly, I had to look at the RP log and ctrl-F for Elsa. I feel like a bad fan, lol.

And I suppose I should also make the disclaimer that there is retcon EVERYWHERE. We started out thinking it was just going to be a passing thing, a storyline that we would play when we got bored of our Parasite Eve RP, something we intended would be abandoned when we got bored of it. As it turns out, now its the exact opposite, we've completely lost the PE RP in favor of this one. But because of that beginning and its development, a lot of facts about the two of them have been changed. I ought to sit down and make up character bios one day to go with the timeline that I have, but I've been a bad character developer, lol.

Don't feel too bad. I think Yu Aida is retconning the Gunslinger Girl manga as of late, but since he's been drawing it for so many years, I guess that is to be expected.
