Your characters meet 007's Daniel Craig

What it will be like if your OC have to operate with 007 in this day version?

007 is a personal friend of Biff’s. And I’m sure Britney would like to be friendly with him too.

I never mentioned what Jethro did back at MI6 did I...

Yeah.. Now,say it once!

Well, lets take a look at the clues so far:

- Jethro's ex(?)-MI6, ostensibly out for some significant, un-named and probably classified fuck-up.

- He has lots of contacts all over the world, many of them shady... which is why the SWA took him on in the first place.

- At heart he's still quite "Queen and Country".

- Monty's look is very much mid-century spy-fi.

- On a personal level I'm really not sure yet if I want gritty realism or superlasers on the moon (or a combination of both).

- Sean Connery's one of my favorite actors.


Enough hints yet?

Given that Lance is wanted by MI6?

I like Dalton better. Incidentally, Dalton in his prime would have made a great live-action Hillshire, IMO.

I hated Dalton.

I think that may have been "operate with" not "operate like"... though operating like's not a problem either =P

Gotta admit I wasn't a fan of the Brosnan years, though that may have been the fault of the movies as well... invisible car was just taking it too far.

Alpha: Get in line, but since we're here you can at least give me a reason as to why.

Connery vs. Lazenby vs. Moore vs. Dalton vs. Brosnan vs. Craig

The way each actor plays the Bond character is a reflection of the times.
Sean Connery: Established the precedents, and "fleshed out" Ian Flemming's character at a time when the secret agent genre was popular.
George Lazenby: Was only in one film, & really tried to copy Connery I think.
Roger Moore: Took over as the secret agent thing was going out of style. Audiences responded to a "funnier" Bond that mocked an out of fashion genre. It worked...all the other secret agent franchises died out while 007 survived.
Timothy Dalton: By the time Moore stepped down, audiences were tired of the comedic Bond and wanted a more serious, hard edged character.
Pierce Brosnan: Once audiences got sick of Dalton's grim Bond, Brosnan brought back the lighter side.
Daniel Craig: ...and the pendulum swings back to a grim, serious 007.

Personally, I think Judi Dench (M) is the best addition to the franchise in years.

As for Emperor's original question; Elio thinks he is Bond, but Marisa does not like Bond films. Her take: All the violence is great, but do secret agents really wind up with a different girl at the end of every adventure? This is a worrying circumstance for a young girl whose heart & soul is devoted to her own secret agent.

Now thats a hardcore reminder that reality is a bitch.

technically 007 is an assasin not an intelligence officer,the term secret agent actually applies to people who sell imformation from within a country,not people sent into it,real spies tend not to go around killing people,it attracts to much attention !

I'll second that. Actually Judi Dench is a pretty good addition to damn near anything.
