Some Interesting HK Pics
Found this image thread while searching for stuff on a particular H&K model. There's a lot of interesting stuff here -customised models, license built and aftermarket variations, some prototypes for models that I don't think ever really made it to market... (such as a .45 MP5K and what would appear to be a HK53 variant with an integral sound suppressor). Some of it is stuff I didn't even know existed!

First page has a lot of dead images, but most of the pictures show up fine.

That was what I meant when I said the first page had a lot of dead images. Once you get partway down the second page, almost everything else shows up properly.

My guess is that those are actually seriously chopped down 7.62mm weapons (although then again, the colouring makes me wonder if some of the work is custom built). It seems to me that it would be a lot easier to cut down a G3 than try to get a submachine gun to fire a full power rifle cartridge, even if said submachine gun is more or less a scaled down G3 in the first place.
Pretty sure whoever built those did it for fun, there would be some... issues... trying to use those as actual combat weapons. Issues like 'oh shit, I just blinded myself with my own weapon's muzzle blast.'
Personally, for me some of the more interesting pieces were the modified service rifle type weapons, both the user modified ones and the manufacturer modified ones. The Turkish HK33 variants shown on page 7 were kind of interesting, they've been modified with some more modern features. And I think the rifle at the bottom of page 3 might be a modified Swedish AK-4 (license built G3) given some things I've read elsewhere (the upgraded Swedish AK-4s seem to have green furniture, and I think they went with an aimpoint for them). Bit of an odd configuration there. (Edit: actually, looks like the Swedish AK-4s use a different handguard style, at least when not equipped with a new railed handguard. So not really sure who that rifle belongs to.)

My favorite out of all of them is the UMP 45 in MW2. That thing is so accurate!

Me running around with dual 1887's would like to have a word with you.
But god damn wouldn't recoil be an issue with those MP5's?

lol That's why I use the UMP 45 and Vector when I get them. -.- The 1887's suck now, though, after the update reducing their range.Nuke is Good wrote:DaGuyEvery1Knows wrote:My favorite out of all of them is the UMP 45 in MW2. That thing is so accurate!

That patch barely did anything, I still get the same results with them. The game feels way too easy vs CoD4 when I had to deal with M16 RDS users with SP.

I really don't like COD due to the COD timmies that keep appearing on airsoft fields.
