My wife and I weren't always married, West. Back when family opposition to our bond was at its height and they did everything they could to keep us apart, the secret mobile phones, Internet cafe time and (very rarely) sneaking out were all we had. At least TT doesn't have a horde of unreasonable people all over his back for dating his girl. Not that I wish it upon him. But just think about it - if my wife and I could sustain our relationship via long-distance contact while under so much pressure and hostility, there's no reason why anyone in less trying circumstances cannot.

right, but i refer to when they haven't get married. besides, i don't know that TTIO don't have to sneak out, so if he didn't have to, that would be so much better.

it's always possible to make time and it makes your time together more preciouse, just remember that absence makes the heart grow fonder but to much fondness and you will go bitter

I've written a program for her declaring my love. Now, I just need to compile it for Windows and see if it works, though I know it does on Linux

if it run in linux, it should be for windows as well. just take the logic, and copy paste to the windows compatible compiler. and that's it.

Compiled it for Windows today, sent her it via email. Annoyingly, it needs a dll file and a symbolic link to it, so I actually have to use 3 files for the one executable (this thing is tiny, btw). But hey, it works

She doesn't have a clue when it comes to computers, which in a way helps. We're similar enough that we can love each other, and different enough that we can help each other out with stuff
So I'm thinking I'll probably build her a decent computer at some point (and she's not getting away with having only Windows on it )
In all honesty, within our circle of friends, we're nearly polar opposites *shrug*

well that's how attraction works, you always want your opposite because it you two are totally alike it would be boring, and your "animal instincts" would want you to have "variety" when it comes to your offspring

Yeah, I read an article on that a couple of weeks back. I found it funny, mainly due to the fact that it was labelled as "proof" that opposites attract. As if I need proof of that

well "somone like me" is different from "someone i can relate with" of course we all want someone we can relate with. opposites attract, complete opposites are a different story :lol!:

Yeah, she likes to be independent, so she doesn't really talk to me about the things that I would rather she did... Still, she's opening up more now.

if she's independent its' better not to be too possessive. my friend's relationship was ruined because of it.

sorry if i'm mistaken, but such girl (maybe) has high ego and don't really bother those who important to her with something that she (think) can overcome by herself. but she'll tell you once its done greatly. with pride (maybe).
