Gunslinger Girl Collectables

That thing's a nightmare. After not getting anything from it, I pulled the chip off and verified the console still works on it's own. I didn't test it fully, but the browser loaded up and that with the drive removed. So I moved the chip and rigged everything back with shorter wires and such. Now I get the firmware screen, but no browser and the Drive won't read correctly. ::bangshead::

I'm going to tear it apart again and check for bridges in my work, maybe I'll find something.

Additional: GOt it working. I had a bridge on one of the contacts I soldered. My drive, however, was not working because the contacts on the cable were all messed up. I straightened them and now it's working great. I need someone to ship me a few crates of language skills, though, I can't understand anything in that game except "Start".

Don't worry, you'll understand it with time. I was confused at first, but after a while the it got to a point where I know where things were and what buttons to press. ^_^

Woo! And I think we can safely assume that the bridge didn't burn any components out, else the console as a whole wouldn't be working right now

Just got my GSG lithograph. Very cool. I plan on taking it to a frame shop on Friday.

Also, the 1st DVD with the art box and a cloth poster is only $10, which is pretty nice (I bought that too )

That's all I have on mine, at least. Having said that, the Building Triela thing didn't work for me, and the dossiers weren't complete (I was missing stuff on Angelica)

Well that figure usually goes for about 100$ now. but I found a site where you can get it for 67$. It's the lowest price I've seen, everywhere else is sold out or the price is too high (like ebay).
