Halo gun in real? WTF!

Those of you who have played halo, take a look at this sniper rifle: the Mechem NTW-20





Though the magazine feeds in from the side, this thing looks very much like the sniper rifle from Halo.

metter yet, I remember a sniper rifle in the Custom PC edition of Halo. a modded in super sniper rifle actual looked like that.

what do you guys think?

It would help much if you post that gun from Halo too

Awesome, but I just know that you cant really log that thing around like my lego guns, because the axel holding the tyers in place would snap like a twig.

That thing's awesome, but as Tommy says, it's probably strictly for display only.

No actually, that gun is real.

Almost every game sci-fi oriented or movie rip something from an existing gun and add some other stuff to make another.

Take a look at Star Wars' E-11 and Han Solo's blaster. The E-11 was derived from British Sterling SMG, and Han Solo's blaster from the Mauser C/96--all the scopes were placed backwards.

The Rebel rifle in 'Return of the Jedi'? A combination of StG 44 Assault Rifle with the Colt M16 rifle.

What about the gun in Halo? The Assault Rifle somewhat reminds me of a clash of French FAMAS and the supposed-to-be M16 replacement XM somethng-something--the futuristic rifle I don't remember the name.

Starship Trooper's Morita Rifle? The whole body is original, but the rifle itself is a combination from a shotgun which I don't remember and a Ruger rifle.

The gun in Alien? A combination between the M1A1 Thompson and...something else that I can't remember.

Try watching any kind of sci-fi movie, see the gun, and rate it. They all came from this world; they have a base weapon to be converted and combined.

I was alluding to the remastered versions (I think) where they added with CG a blaster bolt fly past Han's head from Greedo's gun before Han shoots. So in those versions, Greedo actually shot first, but missed.

Changed it because of something about Han Solo shooting first was "too cold." :WTFWTF:

Recently I find an airsoft site in the UK that shows a picture of a guy who actually managed to create a replica of the Morita Rifle from Starship Troopers from Airsoft!

Speaking of which, considering the fictional weapons which one will win in a duel of range, fire-power, versatility, Rate, mobility, etc.? I think the Stormtrooper rifle will win though...

...never want to field-strip the Morita or the M41A Pulse Rifle
