I know some members pair their OCs with the girls, but I thought I'd try my hand at possible canon pairings. More like they could have been canon, but can't because the other was killed off. >.> But hey...it's fanart so anything is possible. X3

Triela x Pino sketch (There's been some talk about this pairing and it's been bugging me. At first I disliked it, but over time it started to grow on me. There isn't much fandom on this pairing so I figured why not? Decided on a more mutual pose, though Pino looks like he wants to use the knife on someone )




Rico x Emilio Sketch (If you are wondering 'Who the hell is Emilio?', he's the guy that worked at the hotel where Rico was assigned to kill a politician. He was around when Rico was on the job and well...he only made a one chapter/episode appearance. His crush on Rico was cute so I did a sketch of the two holding hands. I like Rico's expression since she's clueless as to why Emilio looks like his mind is in another world.)



Yea, my mind is weird. I think later on I'd like to try color and add more detail to these. Hope you guys like them!

Did you know that in the doujin, Emilio was meant to survive the confrontation with Rico even manage to ask her out? We get a "meet the in-laws" scene when Jean crashes the date and is like "Who the hell are you?"

Wait, there is a doujin of this? If so, give me it! Unless you're joking and it doesn't exist (though I wish it did) >.>

The following was inspired by Chapter 56. There were so many things I loved about the chapter that I felt the urge to sketch one of my favorite scenes. Small spoilers, but if you haven't read it you might as well because it's so awesome!

Decision (This is the scene where Triela is about to leave Hillshire because she feels her presence will continue to cause him suffering. She's at the door thinking back on the past and then tears flow to her eyes when she realizes where she needs to be the most. I decided to rely on pencil to add in the details)



Oh and I love Triela's new hairstyle!

I love the sepia tones, Sakura. And Triela's new hairstyle is nothing short of gorgeous.

Pig tails actually. Pony tails are at the back of the head, Pig tails are more to the side, not dead center of the back of the head.

Yeah, I don't exactly know much about girls' hairstyle, and I've never had hair long enough to do anything with it. Hmm... so there called pigtails, huh? Why? I mean, they don't resemble a pig's tail in any way.

Don't ask me, that would be like asking why peanut butter is called peanut butter, while its nothing like butter. (a Dutch guys view there.)

You guys have both got it wrong - the naming of those hairstyles doesn't have anything to do with their position, but their length. Pigtails are short lengths of hair bound with a single cord or ribbon (up to six inches or so), while ponytails are long ones (a foot or better). Triela's hair was done up two ponytails previously, and a single one now.

Then we have braids, which are what Elsa wore her hair in. Those are a different matter entirely - they're not just bound with a cord or ribbon, but wound into helical shapes.

pigtails are braids,not loose hair,the term has nothing to do with length,when worn by a man a sigle braid is called a que,this was the prefered hairstyle of the british military in the 18th and 19th century,the term pigtail comes from the habit of twisting chewing tobacco into a type of string,almost like the braided hair,during the 18th century

Wow guys, I never thought my latest fanart would be such a hit! I'm glad to hear some of you think it's my best work yet. At least it's a sign of improvement. Before doing all this GsG fanart I haven't sketched anything in a long time.

Now to answer some specific questions and comments

Nacht- The sepia tone came about from darkening the picture in photoshop. Even with pencil shading, the picture comes out light and I really want to get the details out. In the end, I think the new color tone gives it a nice touch.

West- This fanart was finished in a few hours. I think because I was so inspired with the idea that the drawing worked out nice and quickly. Some of my other drawings I spend hours changing the face to get it the way I want.

Glad somebody noticed. Yeah, those two have gone so much through the ups and downs of a sorrowful existence. So I tried to show them as a fleeting, bittersweet, yet poignant moments.
