As far as I'm aware, they're not special forces. They're some kind of armored or mechanized unit of the regular army.

The Bersaglieri are a regular army infantry corps the emphasise high-mobility warfare (nowadays with APCs, historically with bicycles!) - as far as I'm aware they don't have a special forces unit. You might be thinking of the 9th Parachute Regiment or the 4th Alpine Regiment in the Italian Army, which are both organised as "Special Operations Forces".
