I think that if someone doesn't know when to stop playing an online game, they should be just left to rot in front of the computer. In that regard, the online game isn't a means of corruption; it's a means of identifying who doesn't deserve to be part of society. If you don't know when to stop playing, it means you're pretty dumb to start with and don't belong.

lthat old ak from the vid will be hell to fire legally:
1 For civilian possession, all machineguns must have been manufactured and
registered with the ATF prior to May 19, 1986 to be transferable
between citizens or it may be a fall under a Curio and Relics License.

sady just haveing the ak is a crime it it self.
from wikipeda on the National Firearms Act
Criminal conduct

The Act makes certain conduct a criminal offense, in relaton to
engaging in business as a manufacturer, importer, or dealer with respect
to (NFA)firearms without having registered or paid a Special
Occupational Tax (SOT); receiving or possessing a firearm transferred to
oneself in violation of the NFA; receiving or possessing a firearm made
in violation of the NFA; receiving or possessing a firearm not
registered to oneself in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer
Record; transferring or making a firearm in violation of the NFA; or
obliterating, removing, changing, or altering the serial number of the
firearm.[15]

if it is not registered you cant keep the gun. [EDIT] - Page 2 1371890812

Which does, the Galil? You have to keep in mind that it's basically a Kalashinkov-based action and a slightly-more-accurized battle rifle. It won't necessarily be the most accurate gun out there compared to the Dragunov, which is a purpose-built sniper/designated marksman rifle.

[EDIT] - Page 2 Empty Re: [EDIT]

Post by Lyndist Thu 24 May 2012 - 2:24

OK - this time i will tell u guy a story about my Military Life -some in here already know about it ^^ . It not glorious -but this is my military life and and I'm proud of it

"YES SIR, we fought for SHIT" [EDIT] - Page 2 732225

At that time , when I was a young soldier -and stationed in a remote area near the border . it a very tedious place - and with us , those new who just away from home ,don't know about anything - it really is a torture .

But the boredom passes quickly , we have to work on the field and military training .At that time we have a large garden ( about four or five hectares - enough to provide food for the entire camp ) planting lots of vegetables and fruit ,we also raise chickens, pigs and cows too .We assignment six platoons took turns working on the field - Lots of work, very little time and time passes quickly

In Việt Nam . we use animal manure (also called shit LOL) dried and mixed with straw to make organic fertilizer [EDIT] - Page 2 61015 -Very good and Cheap . we store them and use to fertilize crops next season

Two months before TẾT Holiday - The most important holiday in Vietnam .Commanders gathers us around and said

" We will organize a contest , The platoon can earn 300 kg of organic fertilizer from here to three days before Tet - will be rewarded with five days off during Tet "

At that time some screamed, others howl and some gasping - five days off during Tet? Are we dreaming? we can go home , we can party , we can smoke, drink alcohol , we can love each till morning and NO MORE WORK?

And a war happen

Fist - pigs and cows are well cared for shit - At that time, they just need eat, sleep and shit for us , other things are not necessary . All units are trying to get up early in their turn -thing that has never happened before - to collect "animal manure" in the morning -if no , other units will be glad take them (or steal them?)

Immediately -we found that we could not gather enough 300kg "organic fertilizer" in two months in this condition - everyone find ways to increase the weight ( there is an implicit rule : not stealing "organic fertilizer" from other unit ,raw is fine - if the commander detect it ,they will be disqualified from the race ) -some try to mix some sawdust ,sand on it , some even using of their "manure" to increase weight ...v...v...Our units come up with a other solutions ,more effective but more dangerous : WE STEAL - BUT NOT FROM OUR GUY

That night ,when it our turn to guard - I and five others left the camp -Our target is the rubber plantations ,right beside where we are stationed -they have a hundred cows at that place -even flies manure is more than enough for us .(our relationship is not good , some of their cows have run into our garden)

With what has been learned in the military ,we easily pass a rubber plantation to the target area : the cow shed . Tons of dry manure in front of us like a giant treasure . AND we encountered a problem :we have nothing to contain them . Our information says there are hundreds of sacks in there -but when we arrived not even have a nylon wrap in there (we do not carry sacks because if we were caught with a sack - we will be accused of theft . If we go bare hand - we can deny ) .After a little consultation - we decided use shirt to contain shit (LOL) we removed shirt ,set buttons and stuffed it tightly with thing that more valuable than gold with us now and withdrawal -each of us carry more than 40 kg

After returning to "base" - put them in our warehouse . we encounter another problem : WE STINK (LOL) . Although all of us were very tired and the weather was cold -We forced to take a bath .We can not use the barracks bathroom - because if we bathe and wash clothes in there (In mid night and cold weather?) -the bathroom will stink and commanders will discover what we have done ,and then discipline for the offense of theft is very serious

After a little consultation -we decided to go to nearby canal for bathing

.Once again , we left the camp . This time , more dangerous because our guard turn is over-we decided to use the ladder to overcome the the fence (one of us will go to talk and distract the guards) we choose the command center because it is made of solid brick (you will not make a sound when you step onto it) when we reached the roof -we will use a rope to slide down the streets (another person -who not with us in the stage 1 [EDIT] - Page 2 183408 will retrieve the rope after we left )

After bathing and washing clothes in cold weather - we returned to camp , wearing wet clothes , cold and tired - this time we can not risk our lives go back into camp with a rope we use to slide down (climb will cause more noise than slide down) if the guard detect us - he can shoot without asking who (After all, this is the border area) and not to mention about the commander who sleeping in the command center

But we have a plan

We decided to buy a box of cigarettes - we smoke a lot (look like we try to smoked ourselves and each other ) -partly because of the cold ,partly because we want to attract attention . At that time already more than 4 am and the sky is dimly lit , we talk and laugh out loud . Finally the guards notice (and the commander, too )We were arrested and brought into meeting with the commander

The commander asked " what the hell you guy doing out there , in cold weather? "

We answer "Smoking a little sir" (alcohol and tobacco banned in the barracks .If you get caught when drinking or smoking in the barracks , you will be disciplined -so you can only smoke or drink alcohol outside of camp)

The commander asked " in mid night?"

We answer "yes sir"

The commander asked " How do you guy sneaks out of camp ? "

We answer " we wait for the guard went into the the toilet and sneaks out sir"

The guard said "I left the place a few minutes to go to the bathroom , sure they sneak out at that time " (in fact that the guards do not go to the toilet -he lied to avoid being disciplined)

The commander asked "What time ?"

The guard said "at 4 hours 10 minutes" (he lied)

The commander asked "In just 20 minutes but you guy smoke up half a box of cigarettes? "

We answer "yes sir"

"Alright , run 30 lap , entire platoon -not just you guy" The commander said " the guard too"

The Campaign ends here

In the end - we got 400kg of PURE organic fertilizer (just dry manure and straw - don't have sawdust ,sand or rock in there like orther unit) we got 6 dayoff ,not 5 because we have exceeded targets

"HỌC KỲ TRONG QUÂN ĐỘI"- "SEMESTER IN MILITARY" Part 2 " We are proud because we are the elite "

This is an advanced training program of "SEMESTER IN MILITARY" - It applied in this summer

Unlike the "basic" training program . The practitioners will learn and practice continuously for 3 months . That why participants must be over 15 years old , in good health and the family must agree to sign a commitment

The curriculum is not much different to the basic program - The only difference is in the last month , they will be transferred to "RỪNG SÁC" forests -A well-known base of Việt Nam special forces "Đặc Công" in Vietnam WAR [EDIT] - Page 2 183408

Here, they will learn some special skills , taught by special teachers - The veterans of the Đặc Công

the reason that why female combat personnel have their own problem is because thy are women and women cannot simply make a right decision by themselves(they rather follow what their emotion think...) well,it's just an hypothesis....

Just a hypothesis here, but as far as I can tell, those countries which are less resistant to the idea of women in combat tend to be those with a recent (and often desperate, ie the conflict is actively threatening their own country) history of warfare... whether by their own doing or by the hand of someone else. Hence they tend to take a more pragmatic view towards the apparent need for one's sexual organs to swing around in the breeze in order to hold a rifle. Either that or they have particularly competent and/or egalitarian governments (see the nordic countries), or on the other end of the spectrum, particularly powerful governments (on a domestic scale, in terms of an ability to say "you shall do").

Those that are resistant either have it culturally ingrained, or suffer a government run by focus groups (See: democracy... which frankly, for all its virtues, is shit at getting anything actually done)... preferably from far enough away from the front lines to be able to sit back in its armchairs and bitch (See: most of the westernised world)... to which the rulers run around in circles trying to please everyone, especially the vocal and ignorant minority, and ultimately pleasing no-one.

That's of course a pretty broad generalisation, and one which leaves a lot of questions unanswered and holes... but the short version is I think it's a combination of cultural/social pressures, or at least perceived cultural/social pressures and politics. I seem to remember one of the major barriers to Australia allowing women into direct-combat roles was that the politicos (and military for that matter) were terrified of what the public reaction would be to a woman being killed; whether real or imagined.

As opposed to what public reaction to a man being killed would be? Man, gender equality truly is a myth.

Frankly: it really is.

Jumping quickly to another bitch of mine: this is one of the reasons I'm generally opposed to these schemes to give women a "leg up" in the workplace. Not because I'm against the idea of women being board members and that sort of thing, but because if you legislate that 30% of the board MUST be women, then everyone is going to look at the women there and go "well she's just there because we had to fill the quota"... regardless of whether the individual in question deserves to be there or not. I think it's unfair to those women who do have the merit and capability to reach those positions to allow them to be lumped in as quota fillers. It's just reinforcing a belief that there is some sort of barrier between the sexes in terms of capability. [EDIT] - Page 2 955224

Of course, then again you run into the cultural issues ingrained with the "boys club"... catch 22. I think as the current, hopefully more gender-equitable, generation rises through the ranks that glass ceiling will disappear, but it's going the long way around. However I honestly think many of the measures put in place to try to speed things up wind up doing more damage than good in the long term.

I think the biggest stated issue with females in combat roles is that studies done regarding, say Russian women serving in primarily male units during WW2, have showed that females are just a wild card for the chemistry of a unit. Some guys frankly don't trust women.

And I don't mean this disparagingly, but if the average guy can't make sense of a woman given a highschool relationship, I don't really think its realistic to say he could in a far more stressful scenario like a warzone.

On the other end of the spectrum, take thirty college-aged males away from their homes and loved ones for months at a time in hot, boring military bases and add a few female soldiers... what's going to happen? Relationships throwing a wrench into squad organization aside, pregnancy during wartime sucks.

I DO support gender equality. There's been quite a few females in the armed forces, I know for the US who performed as well as anybody could be expected and paid dearly for it. I'm just pointing out the issue is probably a lot more complicated than prejudice and the old guard.

The Russians *used* to have women in combat roles, because WW2. You know, where Stalin killed twenty million Russians and they were running out of everything? Or take Israel, which still avoids placing women into combat roles but accepts them more or less universally into the military. The reason for that is because they're constantly under attack and a completely militarized population is what works for them.
