What Would You Give Your Cyborg To Drive?
For me, the answer is simple.
For Rachel: 1 Fiat X 1/9 with extended pedals and a raised seat.
For Francesca: 1 Alfa Romero Spyder- Black, much like the one her former handler drove.

Re: What Would You Give Your Cyborg To Drive?
Right now I am leaning very heavily towards a Peugeot 307 CC. I like the looks of it and it's not too big (4.4m) so it should be maneuverable enough in Rome traffic. And even with the 177hp I4 it's not all that fast. So that should keep Michele's BP down when he's in the passenger seat.
She does have her heart set on an Alfa 147 GTA so Michele might blink.
She will, of course, continue to get to play with the Ferrari F430 on occasion.

Takashi (he's a speed demon): Ferrari F40.
Kei (He's a Stick Jockey): A Two seater BAE Harrier.
OK, I know That a Harrier doesn't count as a Car, but Kei has flying in his blood. as such, His handler made him earn his Pilots license, and bought an old Harrier Via some old friends

I'm not much of a vehicle person in general, but I think Keetha would lean towards either a small/manouverable/nippy car or a motorbike of some description (likely an S2R? Or am I thinking of something else?)

It's truly hard to beat the F40. I've driven all four Ferrari supercars: The 288 GTO, the F40, the F50 and the Enzo and, hands-down, the F40 was the best for sheer visceral pleasure. It only had a twin-turbo 3.0 liter V8, but that's all it needed because it was so light. The F50 was a beast in comparison and even the Enzo is weighed-down by modern safety and comfort systems.

They actually did do one black one, for Schumacher or somebody, but it actually doesn't look very good. Not that the Enzo is a handsome car to begin with. Still, a great night for Kara is a clear sky, a clear A90 and a full tank of petrol.

Re: What Would You Give Your Cyborg To Drive?
Francesca will be getting a 1999 Rebuilt 1993 Alfa Romero Spyder.
In fact, its the same car that belonged to her old handler Felix, and killed in. As Fernando goes through his mission(s) throughout the later chapters of Solution's Resolution after Francesca's rebuild, the car is being rebuilt for Francesca, mostly for future mission needs. The SWA contracted Fiat for the basic rebuild and Ferrari for enhancements to the L6 engine, suspension and steering, added safety features and bullet proofing of body panels. Fernando will add his touches to it as well when it is done. Its "the little Alfa that could."
They are still discussing if it should remain the same red or paint it black.

As we all know, Giuseppe tends to get into his cups...
Well, one night he got particularly hammered and stumbled past a Porsche dealership and picked himself up a new ride:
The Porsche Panamera - taking all the worst aspects of Porsche design and munging them into one chassis.

Considering Porsche/Audi/VW are all part of the same shared company (like Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth, GM, and/or Ford/Lincoln/Mercury), they should have taken better designs from what worked best from the other two counterparts.

Re: What Would You Give Your Cyborg To Drive?
Well as Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear rightfully points out, Porsche's designers are the laziest bums. They haven't change the look of the 911 in decades and every new car (Bosxster, Cayenne, Panamera) follows the 911 shape to some extent and every time they update them, the styling never changes, either.
At least when Audi bought Lamborghini, they brought in stylists who reigned in the insanity of the designs to create beautiful cars like the Gallardo Spyder.

Re: What Would You Give Your Cyborg To Drive?
It is not that one would call them lazy, but more like a signature design. A Porsche is a Porsche is a Porsche, unless you are talking about old VWs which Ferdinand Porsche built for Hitler. Even then the VW Beetle was hardly ever changed for more than 1/2 a century. In '70 came the Super Beetle with the Porsche Strut suspension, but outside than that, it was basically the same car! Even to this day- Beetle (parts) are still being made in South America to keep up with demand for parts. Beetle Car prodution itself stopped in late 2003...
The Citreon 2CV was a cheap French copy of the Beetle since the end of WW2 to about late 1990's when they stopped producing it. It never changed!
The Morgan was built around 1930's, still built today and cost over $130K! Its basically the same car as back then, with some improvement to the engine and safety features, but it is the samecar- built by hand by Morgan of Britan. Only thing that Morgan has over the other cars is that they guarentee their cars for life and will repair them (outside of accident damages) for free for life. You just have to ship it back to themin Britan... dont worry, they will give you a loaner car until you get yours back.
The Jeep has changed only a bit from its WWII military origins so it can be street legal and appealable to the masses, but it is the same construction as the original-only bigger.
Though I agree with Mr. Clarkson on many grounds about cars, I dont on this. Sometimes change is not good. Other times it is necessary. Then again, look at Harley Davidson...

So true.
Michele has a Ferrari Enzo for track days, which is why he kept his 456M GTA as a "daily driver" since it's both comfortable and fast. I was going to get him a 612 Scaglietti to replace the 456M GTA (especially after the Surrey to Verbier challenge on Top Gear), but I've always thought the Gallardo Spyder was a pretty car and I love convertibles. And considering the F430 and the Gallardo together are cheaper then the 612, it made more sense to me to have him get the Gallardo - plus it allowed me to play a bit with Michele's biases against Lamborghini in an amusing way through Fraternizing with the Enemy.
But yes, if Michele was to own a British car, it would certainly be an Aston Martin DB9.

Just had an idea for Keetha. Now, if you consider my pretty appalling knowledge of cars, I'd say this is pretty good
The Nissan Sport Concept Ok, it may be a concept car, but it's the sort of thing that would be perfect for Keetha, if it ever went into mass-production

That looks like a Honda Civic (which isn't a bad thing. mind you).
She should get one of these, instead:
Nissan GT-R
It would out-drag anything else in the SWA parking lot except Michele's Enzo and it's cheaper then most anything else in the SWA parking lot to boot!

Correct. But these folks work for the government, remember. Kara was driving since she was 16 and Michele was able to secure her a license while she was still 17 (did I mention Priscilla is a whizz at records?).

Ok, ok, a gray Ford Escort. Seriously, something low in profile, but with bullet-proof glass and some extra armor plating on the inside.

Almost all of the handlers drive German cars, as do a good part of the staff (Alessandro's smart is designed and built by Mercedes and Pietro Fermi's Mini Cooper which is designed and built by BMW. Olga or Priscilla drive a VW. Even Lauro's Range Rover was owned by BMW up until around 2000-2001).
Heck, even the PM drives German (Rolls Royce Phantom - designed and built by BMW).
The only Italian car I know of is Marco's Fiat Coupe.

I think that that's stretching the definitions a little, Kiskaloo. BMW owns the companies, but they're still distinct.
In any case, I always thought that Alessandro's dinky little Smart car was a little absurd. Given its 'evironmentally conscious' selling point he could plausibly be angling for the 'modern urbane sophisticate' image with one, but really the Don Juan needs to have a pretty hefty 'come hither' look to compensate for an inescapably functional vehicle. It's like chugging up to the red carpet of a Hollywood premiere in an Morris Metro...!

Given its 'evironmentally conscious' selling point he could plausibly be angling for the 'modern urbane sophisticate' image with one, but really the Don Juan needs to have a pretty hefty 'come hither' look to compensate for an inescapably functional vehicle. It's like chugging up to the red carpet of a Hollywood premiere in an Morris Metro...!
...this coming from a Don Juan in a Geo Metro (convertible, but still).

Well, being relatively environmentally friendly isn't the SMART's only good point. Who doesn't love a car that can be perpendicular parked when space gets tight?
Honestly, is being green the thing's actual main selling point? They're actually pretty damn heavy for their size. I thought it was more that they had merits in a city environment and were kind of quirky.

Damn thing's still too wide for that, I say. Morris/Austin/Rover Mini FTW!
or, if you want an even cuter car.... Fiat 800!

I'd take a Fiat Nuevo 500 Abarth, myself.
