Para-military

Is anybody OC had been the ex para-military from C.I.A. ?

It seems that OC's handler here were former special force from European continent and USA only.

I think Elfen's OC handler (Fernando) used to be with the CIA...

Well the C.I.A. is an intelligence service, not a para-military one.

Michele served in the Aeronautica Militare (Italian Air Force), but he was not part of their special forces units. He was a regular line officer. His "special training" came from working for the SWA in Public Safety (he joined shortly after Rosanna and Alessandro left). So he underwent a lateral transfer to Special Operations when he agreed to become a handler.

Para-military CIA is any CIA Special Ops Officer in the Miliary with ties to the CIA. This cam be the Army's Delta Force, Navy/Marine Seals, or the Airforce's Skunk Works Program (U-2/SR71 pilots)

Natch has it 1/2 right. Fernando is from the CIA, but he is not Para-Military, he is from the 'Intelligence Arm' of the agency. But his friend Leon is CIA/Para-military ( http://www.hondosackett.com/Fernando/wiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Leon ). Leon trained the gooks in 'Nam from '59 - '63 in order to over throw the Chinese backed North Vietnamese government who was seeking independance from French Colonial rule at the time. Considering that the training Leon (and other agents like him who were there as 'military advisors and civilian consultants) gave these men spread out to the rest of North Viet Nam to create an army that devastated the USA Military Might in the Viet Nam War, lets just say that Leon does not want to talk about it...

Lance is occationally put to work under the CIA as a mercenary (eg. those guys they hired to kill Castro on the Bay of the Pigs incident)

Lance: they never let their own people do the dirty jobs.

But those guys were all Cuban exiles, weren't they?

And I don't think they were hired, I think they voluteered (freeing their country etc. They'd likely do it for free.)

Basically if the CIA hired mercenaries, its not from the land they came from. They would hire advisors (poor ones at that) from their mother nation. But Mercs? They hire anyone is has been proven in their field of work.

Not always a good idea though. One can not go by on word of mouth as so many merc's do.

I thought of such a CIA involved back story for Alpha in that regard.

It involved him doing a personal job for one CIA sub-director as a representative of the agency. After the job was completed though, the sub-director 'forgot' to pay him beyond the original

€20,000 deposit to secure the initial negotiation meeting. The sub-director received something in a package delivered to his home. The sub-director has since moved to another part of the country and now never leaves his residence and handles all his work from government paid equipment. Isolated computer networking, teleconferencing, etc.

It's just an outline, but I'm still debating fleshing it out a bit. I haven't committed nor have I disregarded it.

Well, there isn't many places that you can hire a proffesional assassin who is just 16 years old really. and what would they do with a 16 year old that can wield a gun?

An interesting bit that I'll note is that Alpha himself arrives at every meeting announcing himself as the negotiator for services to be rendered, payment accrued, etc.

Very few people know that it Alpha is the actual contractor. The exception being a few repeat customers and the late Senore Demitri who he served for one year in payment for his aid in staging the coup that enabled Alpha to escape from the Foundation.

Brian is Ex-22nd Special Air Service, and he's also had some time working in an as-of-yet undisclosed PMC during the late 90's and early 2000's.
