This doesn't include my Smith&Wesson AR-15 or my S&W SW990L compact 9mm. I need to update, and get more guns.
Pict includes (from top left to bottom): Mosin Nagant 91/30 (Izhevsk1943), Mosin Nagant M44 (Izhevsk1944), Yugoslavian SKS (circa 60's?), Remington 597, Daisy 2202 (circa mid 80's)
Pistols (clockwise from left): Walther P22, Stoeger Cougar 8000 (9mm), S&W Sigma 40, S&W M&P40.
Not a bad collection for a beginner, I think.

I've held the P99, one of the most comfy gun's I've held. I trust that the P22 share the same ergonomics. I read that the grip was designed by some German Olympic target shooter.
Anyways, here's my Marui P226:
All the upgrades are "under-the-hood", so to speak .

I like the p226 and all but really am being moody about them i think it has to do with the safety being a decocking lever or something meh its just me.

Well, the P22 shares the P99's grip angle and shapes, but is smaller. The whole gun overall is pretty cheap, unlike the P99s. The gun can litterally chew itself up straight from the box. I did some recommended mods to it, just some simple grind and buff, and the thing runs like a champ now. It'll feed most ammo and do it well. It also hates to be shot clean. The feed issues I get are only after I clean it and last about 50 rounds.
Overall, my favorite gun is my M&P40, hands down.

The MP40 is a nice piece of German engineering. I've fired one and it is actually very controllable.
The rate of fire isn't all that high. but that's what makes the gun controllable at full auto.
But if we are talking about SMG's from that Time period, I'd go with the Thompson SMG (Doesn't matter to me what version). I am a bit of a high caliber buff. the fact that the MP40 is a 9MM shooter just puts me off.

Indeed I did, though an MP40 would be a nice thing to have, though I could never afford one at the going rate.
Here's the spec page for the Smith M&P40

Re: post pictures of ur weapons
Had some serious issues in getting the camera to take a decent pic of my blades, so I left it to these.
These blades my girls got me on Mid March as a late B-day and Xmas present. They may not be real made ceromnial blades (I keep those locked up in a safe place), but its the thought that counts.
The first, is the Tanto blade that came with a set of 3: Tanto, Wakizashi, and Katana The Wakizashi and Katana did not fit into the frame, so they were left out for now. Then I figure how to, all 3 will be pictured together.
This is the Wakizashi of the second only came with only the Wakizashi,
and Katana. It barely fit into the picture. The Katanas does not fit into the frame at all (still learning the camera)...
Personality wise, I know which girl got me which blade set, though they all claim to have put their pennies together and bought all 5 at once. Funny... I was wondering why there were asking for money from me at $50 bunches...
God bless their little souls.

A PT92, nice. I plan to pick up a Beretta 92 (what the Taurus is a copy of) once I turn 21. The Taurus has some nice features, but I've heard too many bad things about reliability compared to the Beretta for my tastes...

The real point is to use it as a base and modify it from the ground up with better parts custom parts and awesome grips ....wood...mother of pearl? ivory!! diamond plate steel?!! the taurus is cheaper with more features then the beretta thats why my bro got it..(i like berreta better but what the heck my bro is a cheap asian so modify he goes!)im tempted to make him a sword cutlass slide....

Well, there is my rocket launcher
O.K., fine, it's not mine (obviously, I don't think they're even legal)
The only weapons I really own are two knives I got at the local Medieval Fair
This one looks a bit like the knife Pino tried to kill Triela with.....sort of.

Picture of the current family:
The gun I like the most is the Springfield 9mm, mostly because I'm fairly accurate and consistent with it.
Least favorite is the Glock 29 (10MM). That cartridge is just ridiculously overpowered and this subcompact form makes it PAINFULLY apparent. The recoil is beastly, the muzzle flash is mesmerizing, and the sound pressure it produces is brain-rattling. There's no way I would use this indoors in a self defense situation.

Re: post pictures of ur weapons
I love my Glock 21 and my 36... and they're .45ACP. 10mm is the Glock 20. That said... to each their own, especially with regards to firearms. I have a friend who loves his .50AE handguns, and it takes me a ridiculously long time to reacquire a sight picture with one of those (which is why I intend to go all the way up to .500S&W with my next revolver. If you only get one shot, make sure it's the only shot you need).
as for my weapons... updated my blades, with two more on the way:
Added beauty and the beast, a Windlass Grantham rapier(top) and a Cold Steel O-Katana (second from the bottom...still need to upload more pics of it)... the Hanwei 10th century viking sword (third from the top) is my brother's addition.
I've also got a Hanwei dancing crane wakizashi coming in the mail... and a customized T-10 monosteel differentially hardened katana coming some time in the next six months... apparently the forge it's coming from is run by perfectionists, which is fine by me. I can wait for quality, especially for the price they ask (very low for this nice a blade).

Heh, oops, I meant Glock 29. Nice blades, by the way; would you consider using those on an intruder?
There was a news story about some perp who got shish-kebab'ed by a katana wielding student a while back and I could only imagine how nuts the scene must have looked.

Re: post pictures of ur weapons
yup. The kid never had charges brought against him according to all of the news sources I could find following the case (and he only sliced the guy's hand up... which killed with a combination of shock and blood loss), so I'd certainly use any of the blades on my wall/dresser/desk/under my bed against an intruder who actually lunged at me. I'll most likely be using the wakizashi that's coming in the mail as my secondary home defense weapon... after my Glock 21.Toma-kun wrote:Heh, oops, I meant Glock 29. Re: post pictures of ur weapons
I just got my AK-47 today.
It's awesome!
It came with a laser sight and a flashlight. The laser works, but not the light. (I've also tried other batteries.) Should I get another light or try to fix this one?
I know I could do without it, but I want my cosplay to be as accurate as possible, and they always have a flashlight.

It's just an extra-long flashhider and is actually permanently attached to the barrel to make it a legal 16 inches. It's designed to look like the Vietnam-era XM177 flashhider which had a sort of semi-suppressor built into it. It didn't silence the gun, but it did make it not so ear-splitting loud. Mine does not have that feature, though.

Re: post pictures of ur weapons
Hey guys kinda new here and big fan of the GSG series! seen this thread with both airsoft guns, blades and real steel weapons as well and I say this, is awesome! I thought I'd just post up some pics of what's left of my airsoft collection (most of it is in California) I would get actual firearms but I'm moving to Cali soon to help out my parent's business so here we go! (PS I'm a Henrietta fan! ^_^)
Top to bottom: TM Desert eagle Leon's 10" Custom edition (discontinued), TM P90 with original reddot and replica SCAR flash hider and mock suppressor combo.
Another pic of the P90:
I still need to get a correct flash hider and suppressor for the P90 as well as a brass catcher then I got a correct look alike of Henrietta's gun during the raid to stop the bombing of the Piazza Di Spagna. What's not shown in the pic is that I've stripped the paint off the charging handle and laid a matte clear coat on it to make it look more realistic. Overall I'm pretty happy of what I got so far!

Re: post pictures of ur weapons
Hey guy's back after the first few weeks of school and I apologize for the semi-necro post but I think you'll find it nice that I just acquired my first actual rifle: A Yugoslavian Model 1924/1947 Mauser Bolt Action 7.92x57mm Rifle! Nao with bayonet!
^Yes that is me! I'll try to get some ammo to test on how she shoots! Possibly going to name it some how..... I'll think of something... So how's everyone?

Wife with her Sig P239.
Brass in the air.
Checking targets.

Here's my newest!!! A 4 inch Smith&Wesson 686Plus in 357Mag. Seven shots, a smooth double-action pull (feels less than my Sigma pistol which is 13lbs), and a crisp single action at what seems like 2lb. Can't wait to fire it this weekend.
And here's the long missing pict of my Smith AR-15

Nice Smith there, sir... I've been looking at a similar one down here. You know... when I win a scratch-off ticket. *chuckles*

Re: post pictures of ur weapons
I was actually looking for a six shooter 357 with a 3" barrel, but they didn't have any. I could have ordered one, but I didn't want to wait on it. Eh, it'll be a range and barbecue gun. Maybe I'll get a shoulder holster and lug the thing around on special occasions
EDIT:
Well, not shooting it this weekend. On the pre-firing cleaning, the front ends of the cylinders felt variably tight, as in not the same all around. I checked with both a JHP cartridge and my micrometer and found a concerning level of variance in the chamber diameters on the barrel end. One mic-ed as much as a hundredth off of the standard. I called Smith and am going to send it in for inspection and repair, as there's no way I'm firing a .355 bullet out of a .345 opening.
Let this be a reminder to you all on the importance of knowing how firearms work and should act if you're going to own them.

Re: post pictures of ur weapons
Presenting my latest purchase... the Nerf N-Strike Maverick REV-6 Double-Action spring cocking revolver:
Fun Facts:
--Costs a stonking cheap $8 USD
--Loved by steampunk cosplayers everywhere because a simple repaint and some other bits apparently makes it a steampunk weapon
--You can play non-lethal Russian Roulette with it
--has a tactical rail where you can attach N-Strike "lasers", sights, scopes, and lights

Re: post pictures of ur weapons
I'm pretty sure I would not own these if not for GSG. Hopefully I will have the PS90 short barreled soon, I'm waiting on the paperwork.
