A pair of vids for it:

What about the Nakajima Ki-84? I understand that it performed just as well as the Mustang when the Japanese could find decent fuel for it.

I do love the Hurricane, famously flown during the Siege of Malta patched up with newspaper.

That said, if we're playing "favourite aeroplanes" of the war, I've always been partial to the Wooden Wonder, the Mosquito. That and the Fairy Swordfish.

Personally I have always liked the the p39 aircobra it was hated by most American aircrews but the Russians loved it for the 37 mm cannon as a antitank buster and I love the f4u and for German planes the fw190 aka the butcher bird as I have heard it called before some models I heard had twin 37 mm canons and the standard machine guns

I like the 'Cobra too, but for old Hawker warbirds, give me the Tempest. Its landing speed was almost as high as the Spit's cruising speed - a datum the Tempest pilots liked to rub in the Spitfire squadrons' faces.
