What about the cyborgs in general? Would you way that aviators are too mature for most of them?

By the end of The Original Series she had her instrument rating and was working on her multi-engine rating for the P.180.

Not given it much thought, to be honest, but off the cuff I'd say the Aermacchi SF.260, as it is considered the Ferrari of single-engine light aircraft. Smile

Just a thought; but how about an assignment where Kara has to go undercover as a pilot in either the Aero GP or the European Air Racing Championship. Also, if I'm not mistaken; when it comes to the European Air Racing Championship, the SF.260 has overtaken the Baron 58 in terms of competitive dominance.

Depends on how they're wearing them, but I could see them being fine for any age: whether it look like "I'm wearing these because I'm a rebellious teenager" or "I'm wearing these because I think they make me look grown up". I don't know what it's like over there, but you see plenty of tweens wearing aviators (or at least aviator ripoffs) here.
