Start saving your Dollars/Euro/Yen: Attack on Titan's 1/1-scale 3D Maneuver Gear Prototype Displayed
The observatory on the 60th floor of Tokyo's Ikebukuro Sunshine shopping center began holding an exhibit for the anime adaptation of Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan manga on Friday. Aside from Attack on Titanmerchandise, Purikura booths, a photo area and anime screenshots, the exhibit is also displaying the prototype of the 1/1-scale 3D Maneuver Gear.
The finished product is scheduled to go on sale sometime next year.

^ What that said. Seriously: too awesome for words. I wonder what it costs to buy one of those capsules...I have fantasies of living on my own in a tiny modern hovel too often to count. I imagine just living in a tiny functional space with lots of hidden storage and compartments that flip and slide. I can see myself sitting on that bed, wrapped up in my sheets and duvet, staring out the window with a mug of hot cocoa in my hands. Watching as the rain pours down on the citizens on the streets.
