How many times have you re-read Gunslinger Girl?

As title says, i'm just curious about the extent of your devotedness - though the sheer amount of fanfiction work produced gives me a clue.

For me, i've read the manga twice, the first time i found it mildly interesting then forgot about it, the second time it just engaged me so much more and i could read it again easily, but i'm saving it for another time, just scouring the occasional chapters.

About three times, I think. I watched the anime first, and viewed it way more than I read the manga - it was my primary reference material for fanfiction. Must've watched the Florence episode and Elsa's debut a dozen times apiece.

I've only read the entire manga and watched the complete anime once.

I do, however, constantly go back to both as reference material for my OC fiction.

I've seen the anime and read the manga too many times to count. <3

Pretty much what Kisk said... I've seen/read it all the way through once, but keep going back either looking for references or to just re-visit bits I've particularly liked.

When I'm fighting writers block I'll pick out & read a few chapters that have relevance to what I'm writing.

As for the anime (both seasons) I usually pop in a disc for reference and then end up watching the rest of the series from that point.

See Season 1 some 5 times and Season 2 about the same. Read the Dead Tree versions of the manga some 6 times and continue to review all 3 for various content material some dozen or more times in total.

Given the amount of time I spend thinking about GSG I would re-read it pretty frequently, although there's a logistical problem in my case - there's a good three hundred miles or so separating my manga shelf from my present location, so it's a wee bit of a commute when you want to peruse a new volume!
