For Those Who Like To Truly "Eat on the Go"
Tired of drive-through?
No "Dine-In-Your Car" Burgermaster in your area?
Well fret no more! I present to you the 1956 Cadillac Maharani - a Sixty Special Fleetwood with the front passenger seat replaced with a kitchen.
That's right. A kitchen. With a toaster, stovetop, refrigerator. It has everything, including a kitchen sink.
New York Times Article.
It sold for $225,000 last month at the RM Auctions in Arizona.
And no, Michele did not bid.

It'd be damn useful for the Top Gear Trip, though...
Maybe not... there's no stove.

There is a stove- that round thing in the front.
It seems to be missing the stand for it though.

Meaning you only need to stop for fuel, loo and hitchhikers. Only in America huh?

Well, considering that a car journey between cities in America might involve traversing half a continent and even small towns can be separated by hundreds of miles, being able to eat on the go and conserve some time makes sense.

Jeeze...this is all America needs. Something to make people fatter and less attentive drivers at the same time.
