Happy Anniversary Cherubino

I'm here sitting next to Cherubino... No boyfriend in sight.

Many of you know that today was the day that Sean, her bf was coming over. Today she got a phone call and he told her his car broke down while he was driving here, from Baltimore. As he was driving something fell off a truck and hit into his car, ruining the wiring in his engine. His phone died. He hasn't contacted Cheru since this morning. He has to take a train to get here. They were both gonna come over and go in my pool today. Instead Cheru and I drowned our anger and sorrow eating Subway.

Gonna go play video games and kick butt!!! >_<

Well to give closure, he did come (hehe) to NY. Instead of staying only three days, he stayed all week to make it up to me. We had a good time I guess.

Don't you think I gave it more than one thought? I know the consequences of that action. I think that whether it takes one month or one year, the only people who can know if it's truly the right time are the two people involved in the relationship.

Yes relationships COULD last for years. It doesn't mean it will. I COULD end up marrying him for all we know. The point is, no one can tell how long their relationship is gonna last. I live in the present. If I am in a relationship why not live it out to it's fullest and enjoy the benefits of it. I don't mean I am going to screw every guy I go out with. Don't think I approve of that cuz I don't at all. But in this case, as it feels now, not as we think things are going to be, I feel things may get to that point. He haven't had sex yet but it may be that way. Whether it's a month or a year I think that you cannot plan these things. You just gotta go with the flow.

Well, that's the point. I mean, if you don't know how long a relationship can last, then why have it now? Who knows maybe further in the future there will be someone who is more deserving. Wouldn't you want to spend that first time with that someone rather than jumping into conclusions?

Sorry, but I couldn't agree with the idea of 'going with the flow'. Its like this--or this how I think--if we picture society in general as a herd sheep and you are this one highly intelligent sheep that noticed that the entire group is running down towards a cliff and plunge to their deaths (and note that the rest of the sheep were 'baa-baa'-ing and were practically not listening to you), wouldn't you want to fight against 'the flow'? Or go against the flow in general?
These things are unplanned, I know. Sometimes the most well-thought plan could go haywire at any second due to unprecedented events (such as the landing in Omaha Beach in June 6 1944). However, its a good idea to actually keep that in mind and constantly ask the question whether he/she is the right person for you.

Well how do I know that this person ISN'T the right one? How many years go into this decision? When I move in with him, then is it time? When he purposes then is it time? When he visits me again? Who decides when the time is right? Society or people? If my society says to wait then should I even though I know I'm ready? If my society says to start and I know I'm ready, am I to blame society even though I willingly started to have sex with someone?

And you can't put this in the same situation as the jumping off the hill thing. You know me well enough to know I am not a whore and that I am not one of those people who just does things because everyone else is doing them. I am not saying I am going with the flow of other people around me. I am going in the flow of my relationship and where it is taking me. This has nothing to do with other people and what they are saying. I wouldn't have sex just because someone told me I should. But when I'm kissed by my boyfriend and we're cuddling in a bed together the world is a different place.

NO. Live with someone for awhile before you decide to commit to 'em. If sex is a commitment to you, then most certainly not. The only real test for a relationship is to live with the person for an extended period of time (sex or no, taking the bad with the good), and see if your situation gets intolerable.

Personally most of what I am saying here is hypothetical and what I really think will probably vary in person. Its not how you (or us, in general) know that this person isn't the right one. But whether this person IS the right one. And that requires a lot-a lot of thinking. I've been going steady with Risa-chan for the past 3-4 years, and I'm still giving thought to whether she is the right one or not. She's off in Melbourne now, and we're keeping close-distant contact.

If she is the right one for me, then one day we will meet again. Right now, I'll just wait until I find the right person for me--Risa-chan, or not.

I know that feeling too. Its bliss, yes. I do have to admit that at one point we were on the verge of crossing the line. However, Risa-chan told me before that restraints in such relationships is necessary. So we stop and apologize. She told me to think ahead. First times means you will be giving your all in doing something--especially things like sex.

Mostly, she kept on reminding me to think of when I am in my marriage bed and I find the right girl--say, the perfect girl. If I've given myself to someone else before that time, how would your partner feel? Similarly, if you are in your marriage bed and you have the perfect husband, how would he feel when he figured you have been taken by someone else?

So technically speaking, you're saying humans are comparable to animals? If so, then we all should be walking in four legs and forget the idea of civilization. Absolutely, I can not agree that we are as comparable as animals. If we say how human mates is similar to that of animals, then we ought to say that all other features of us is similar to that of an animal--and with that, I mean the way how human civilization is in general. That's no right, ne?

We are most definitely much smarter. We can think much deeper than what animals can. And the fact that we can give second thoughts and have conscious on things, doesn't mean we have to give in to 'animalist instincts'.

In short, its like comparing the similar caliber of the weapon, but not the weapon in general (like an M1911A1 pistol and an M1A1 Thompson SMG). When doing a compare-contrast or similarity in general, you would compare the whole weapon with the same specification then say 'oh they are the same' (such examples is like comparing a US made M1A1 Thompson and an exported M1A1 Thompson)
