challenge would be trying to fire with my back turned, got my neck burned from exhaust because of that the other day

I was thinking more of a true combat situation, where you're running for cover while stopping every now and then to fire back. But I guess that doesn't apply in West's case...

indeed, when that situation presents itself i use an airsoft rifle, lighter more manegable. firing the real thing has me confined in the range, carry it anywhere else and the cops will be all over my ass

You know, I reckon the lighter weight of an airsoft gun might actually make the 'barrel rising and falling during heavy breathing problem' more pronounced...

If you ever been in an airsoft match and is running away from a number of hails of white BB pellets, steadying the sights while holding your breath is a good way to actually provide a steady aim with the sniper rifle

...although in regards, you have to watch the wind current or else the BB would be out of the range

... that does seem to be the logical conclusion... i guess i'm just more used to airsoft guns then... these are stuff that you shake of over time right? or do you think i just forget that im not breathing

on such an occation i just ditch the sniper rifle and go for a side arm, since if their bb pellets are reaching me, then that means i just lost my range advantage in my sniper rifle... but then, that's me im not really a sniper guy, i'm pretty much ambush and harass

and i wouldn't shoot a sniper rifle standing, i need my cover, and something to support my rifle beneath, it just feels awkward wielding a sniper rifle like in counter strike

one more thing: with a real firearm you can achieve distances that are much greater than with airsoft, so even the slightest change in angle can throw your shot off. Even restful breathing can move your shoulders enough to make you miss at 300m+

...that being said, this game doesn't take into account round dropoff over distance or the curvature and rotation of the Earth (though without seeing where the sniper is in relation to the target, I'm not sure that would come into play... it just seems like the bullet takes an awful long time to reach its target, so maybe 500-ish meters, depending on muzzle velocity).

It is still an alpha version of the game. The options and difficulty were not available until the later release, I guess?

...that being said, I am tempted with the MMO promoted there...although at some point I feel its slightly vulgar...

Unless you're using tracer rounds. You can see those flying towards the target just fine.

of course but then a tracer round would be no fun at 12:00 pm at noon... and i can't shoot at night, firing range closed

That's better than nothing - what was there before was too easy. I was noscoping the moving targets in night mode and hitting bullseyes. I was able to noscope almost the entire bomb level in the daylight too.

Good grief. This is a simple and half-finished flash game and it still has a whole stack of fanart! This is surreal... I suppose that it shows the difference that having a character and so including a little bit of personality makes!

On a different note, whenever I load the game now the sound is off - I only hear static for music in the menu screens, and SFX are out of sync in the missions themselves. Is anyone else having this problem?

well, they added a tutorial... but other than that, no. just a hard mode.

Actually, there's a very hard mode and realistic mode also, but I've only been able to unlock the very hards so far.

That fan-art is great and shows what a memorable character wil draw out of people. I like the one on the right side with the spotter from Cat-Shit One.

Now here's a challenge...wow, the wind changes the feel of the game.

Kinda' gave me the idea to have her have this little showdown with Rico or something
