Anime Characters for President

Okay so what anime character would you elect to president of the united states of America in 08? Relena Peacecraft for a peaceful future, or Brigadier General Roy Must with his promise to free America from dependency on foreign oil.

Bonus points if you can name characters to fill out various cabinet positions. I say Sargent Sagara Sousuke from Full Metal Panic, for secretary of defense.

Considering how bad the economy is, I'd go for the Sage Wolf Holo/Horo from "Wolf and Spice". At least she's an economics whiz.

Second choice would be Konica Clancy from Patlabor or Madoka Ayukawa from Kimagure Orange Road. Tough ladies for tough times.

Ban and Ginji from GetBackers would make good running mates on the platform of "We understand what it's like not to have food on the table... and to run up a massive debt we can never possibly pay. And we will Get Back your economy... somehow."

Not that I think they would actually make good decisions once in office. I certainly wouldn't vote for them! Oh wait, that was the question... I'll have to give this more thought.

Secretary of the Treasury: Lupin the 3rd (want a good swindler, Lupin's your man. )

Secretary of Defense: Sousuke Sagara (so devoted to defense, he'll point a gun at just about anything he assumes to be a threat. )

Attorney General: Joker [Read or Die] (Has the brains to smooth talk the law in the favor of those who favor him or are his personal tools.)

Secretary of the Interior: San [Princess Mononoke] (So fiercely devoted to nature, she'll kill any land developer who wants to mow down a forest to put up a Wal-Mart.)

Secretary of Agriculture: Nausicaa [Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind] (knowing the way of the land is her specialty.)

Secretary of Commerce: Kyouya Ohtori [Ouran Host Club] (Want a guy to keep track of how well businesses and profits are going in the economy, Kyouya's your man.)

Secretary of Labor: Kentaro Oe [Golden Boy] (An all-around guy with an unorthodox style in knowing how to do work in the workplace.)

Secretary of Health and Human Services: Black Jack (helping solve medical problems one person at a time, with a good-sized fee of course.)

Secretary of Housing and Urban Development: Simon [Gurren Lagann] (who needs buildings when you can create your own underground city by drilling everyday.)

Secretary of Transportation: Yukari Tanizaki [Azumanga Daioh] (in office, she'll recommend the national speed limit to be at 100 MPH regardless of surroundings and all hell breaks loose on the roads.)

Secretary of Veterans Affairs: Kenshin Himura (he'll be a fierce supporter of giving war veterans a peaceful life beyond war which involves a new law protecting wandering veterans from harm or being robbed.)

Secretary of Homeland Security: Chise [Saikano] (Screw militaries. Chise's a one-girl army who can mow down enemy combatants all on her own.)

White House Chief of Staff: Riza Hawkeye (So fiercely devoted to President Mustang that she will make sure only she alone can be with him outside of Cabinet meetings.)

Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency: Ashitaka [Princess Mononoke] (The only person San could trust to overlook activities with the EPA. She threatened to sick her wolves on Mustang if Ashitaka wasn't appointed.)

Director of the Office of Management and Budget: Mitsune Konno [Love Hina] (She'll lie and manipulate her way to spend a good chunk of the federal budget on getting herself plastered. )

Director of the National Drug Control Policy: Spike Spiegel [Cowboy Bebop] (He'll pass laws to allow smoking in all public places. To those who disagree with the measure, he'll roundhouse kick to drive them to his cause.)

United States Trade Representative: Horo the Wise [Spice & Wolf] (She knows enough about trading to swindle things in favor of either the country or herself.)

Chairman, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System: Fujiko Mine (She'll seduce Lupin to help her get some money out of the banking system for herself.)

Comissioner of the Social Security Administration: Orochimaru (Will do all he can to wreck the entire system of social security since he sees it as something the weak would set up.)

Director of National Intelligence: Maes Hughes (Gathers all the info and is another loyal member to President Mustang.)

Nah, I still think Yoichi Hiruma from Eyeshield 21 is worth for presidencey. Kira can be the Vice President.
