Claes has read a good range of books since she was 1st introduced in vol 2. but does anyone have idea what are they?

state the book and prove that it really is the one she read (just to
make sure, got to avoid people who put titles like "kama sutra")

Thats right, I forgot about one detail.

Girls don't buy porn mags like us boys do. Most that I know of, they would read one of those "Lime" romances. such as Nachtsider is referring too in the quote above.

So if you look at the porn magazine section and realize that there is no magazine that sports just naked guys, you now know why that is

I think its Triela's stash that Claes is sneaking, since Triela is out more often and Hillshire sends her out to the store on missions. So she sneaks a few along with the bottle of wine, cheese and bread.

Just because Claes is single, as it were, doesn’t automatically make her the horniest of the bunch. Since she’s not conditioned to a handler, that’s probably the least of her worries.

I'm working on a fic right now that takes place shortly after that (which, for my purposes, will be May 2005) and Claes is dead-set against Petra's suggestions of what the teen-aged daughter of a rich Italian businessman would wear (based on the teen fashion magazines Sandro buys for Petra).

“You look great,” Petrushka said, somewhat perturbed at Claes’ response to her work. “You’re going to have the guys falling all over you!”

“I have the body of a twelve year old, Petra! I don’t want the guys falling all over me!” Claes exclaimed as she examined herself in the full-length mirror.

I don’t think you have anything to worry about Kiskaloo, canon shows us that Claes is a pretty cold fish (even though she envies the other girls for having big brothers). I don’t know where all of the romance novel shit came from, but it’s gotten to the point where people are assuming she reads that crap. It’s basically fan fic run amok.

The beauty of it is that it’s not only not canon, but it runs contrary to Claes’ canon personality. It’s like selling people on the idea that Henrietta secretly hates Jose. And the icing on the cake is that this author (who I’ve never heard of outside this story) never had to sell it - people just picked it up and ran with it. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

As I've implied before... reactions to that story and subsequent stories has essentially created a completely different Claes... one who has a bit of sexual curiosity... all for the lulz.
I tend to refer to her as 'fanon Claes'. Unfortunately, some can't tell the difference between the fanon Claes and canon Claes...

Depends on the story. I sure know the differance when I am writing a story or scene that contains her, I just cant really see the differance that well when I am reading about her though.
