Really? That's a relief...

For awhile, I was rather unsure...Koreans have this thing against us for what we did to them back then. I don't have a thing against them though...

...at least not all of them have that. Actually have two Korean friends at school--exchange student.

But oh well...since the confusions out,

Welcome to the board, Soha! It's more of a nitpick than anything else, but I'm actually in favor of members using uniform handles, be it here or on FF.net - that way, we can easily recognize each other. Decision's entirely up to you though...

Well so do many older Chinese actually. But it doesn't make a single ounce of sense to me to hate/treat someone differently because of something that they themselves aren't in control of. Criminals should be treated like criminals. Their children and neighbors, not so much.

I mean I think the Japanese government and higher-ups should be doing, you know, something to make reparations. But on a international scale of douchebaggery, that ranks low. I don't feel any animosity towards Japan or anyone who's Japanese.

But I can understand your concern, I have Korean-American friends who are clearly not of the same opinion.

Hmm, I felt like Kelly Beansprout was a little too close to my real name for comfort. But for organization and sanity's sake, I've changed it.

I'm Korean-American and I have no problem whatsoever with Japanese people. Of course I was adopted and came to the US at age 3 so I'm not sure if that even really counts. Razz
