Thanks Colonel. Got a FAMAS in the way still on request of West Nile, but it will take a while until I start working on that.

Well, here's my request when you're done... SVD! SVD! SVD! SVD! SVD! SVD! SVD! SVD! SVD!

I know that should be challenging with the unique shock design.

The Dragunov SVD, now there is one I haven't thought of.

I added it to the list in the initial post.

The stock aint so hard to make, its the Scope that will be a bitch to replicate out of lego's without looking like a plate of ass and chips.

Just to say though, When I finished the FAMAS, I'll show it to you all, and then We'll do anothre "Part count contest" the winner can request a weapon, or the winner can advance a weapon thats already in the planing.

BTW: I am still trying to figure out how on earth I can construct the Cocking handle on the Famas, but after that its building time Very Happy

holy...my gosh that's awesome. The Heckler & Koch G36C is my favorite. I personally suck with legos. the most complex thing that I've created with one was a bridge (and even that kinda sucked). anyone who can make a gun from legos wins in my book. And the details are amazing! It's like it's all there. I can't believe it takes you only 4 hours...

Well most of the parts that are made can be re-used as a whole.

I mean the hand grip, trigger and trigger guard is pretty much the same with every weapon I made, In exception to the P90, that one required some heavier modifications.

I'll take a photo of that when I start building the FAMAS.

there are currently only 2 things that are delaying me for actually making it.

  1. Figuring out how to make that style of cocking handle work.
  2. Marriage!!!

If you had the technology Tommy, you could create a time laps video of you making one and posting it on youtube. You'll rapidly gain a lot of fans.

There are two ways for me to do it.

1. I coax my wife into doing it. (sadly she doesn't like camera's, so that actually happening will be the same day that I will call the local news paper for that rear moment.)

2. I put the camera on a Tri-pod and use a time delayed shot.

I know it sounds strange, but thats just how she is. she hats having her picture taken, and she hats taking pictures "don't do onto others, what yo don't want them to do to you" would be an explanation.

Personally, I don't think about it all to much.

There wasn't really much to see. though we were in decent clothing, it was just a matter of signing the paper at city hall.

the real party will be the 22nd, but no pictures there either. though it would be nice to have one, my wife just doesn't want to, so I respect that.

taking the pictures of the famas and me, My wife was already glaring at me when I was just putting battery's and a SD card into the thing. thats how much she hates it.

Ok bit of a necro post here but I felt it was necessary.

I keep getting emails thought the forums of one grg_deep02, Grg isn't registered but that name is part of the email address its tagged with.
So far I've received two emails from him/her.

@grg_deep02; if your reading this; Sorry, I don't respond to email addresses that I don't know.

2nd recieved email wrote:
Message subject : [Contact] More About FN PS90

Well... its been a long time since I built that thing. That and I don't really have all that much drive to dig out my giant collection of Lego and start building again.

I can however create a few part files for Lego's official digital designer so you can get a sense of what the internals look like. other then that you'll be on your own. But before I do that I'll be waiting on a response so I know that your actually watching so all that effort won't be for naught.

Heh, that'd be the first time a Spam bot asks me a question that doesn't seem auto generated.

I'm doing alright bro. Nothing new happening with me right now. Just eat, go to work, game, eat, game some more and sleep. Rinse and repeat.
Gaming is slowly losing its appeal though... the gaming industry is so caught up in making FPS' that its starting to become a drag. Have been on Kick starter though and helped kick start a few space games. Kinetic Void and Elite to name two. and right now those are the only games I'm really looking forward too. Also having the occasional fun with Minecraft and Kerbal Space Program but that really is it.

How you doing though Bro? everything good with Gaya and the kids?
