Im not the best at introducing myself, but I'll give it a try. I'm a shy girl who usually stays in her room listening to rap or comedy shows while drawing or listening to those calming study hard songs on YouTube while writing. I got into gunslinger girl when I just got out of elementary school (baby's first anime) and to this day I love it. I guess that's it soooo hi!

I like to point out Section 3 title 44 paragraph 7 from the staff guidence handbook which states that:

"Caffeinated or sugary product, drink or otherwise similar consumable items must be kept at least 200 Meters away from the cyborgs unless she/he is with their handler. Any and all damages caused due to failure to adhere to this rule will result in the agent, whom failed to adhere, paying for any and all damages to facilities or personal."

Remember, each form must be signed and initialed at the marked locations and filled out in triplicate. It's all just the standard boiler plate stuff, you know... for the insurance company. Don't worry about all the little details. Also you shouldn't be concerned if you happen to see any of the girls quietly sneaking around close behind you. I'm perfectly certain they have nothing but the best intentions. They always do... I think.   

But, yeah, glad to have you here and glad to see an artist on the board.

Also, that's quite a serious "starter" anime.

Well she's not the only one who had GSG as their starter. It was my first anime as well.

I watched Soul Eater, then GSG. The only reason I even watched GSG was because it was on Netflix. To think, I was about to not watch it and watch something else instead. Best click I ever made.

Thus far it's been my only one. I keep meaning to get around to watching Darker than Black, but I never manage to put aside the time. The others I've seen bits of seem to consist entirely of the asia-specific tropes that put my teeth on edge.

And GSG was serious but younger me saw guns and action and just loved it so I kept on watching. I didn't really know that there was more sad parts then parts full of action at the time.

I fell for that same gimmick! I'm looking at the cover art thinking "Yes. This looks like it's right down my ally."

Then it eviscerated my soul with a plastic spoon.


Maybe that's why  love it.

I agree with the last two Tea, I decided to watch because I went "WTF is this?" after reading the synopsis...And the action scenes are pretty awesome...

There's something so morbid and interesting about kids with guns. So unexpected, so sad... You picking up what I'm laying down here?

I think one of the main draws is how unconventional GSG tends to be. Not often do you get a setting within Italy, dealing with terrorism, has a heart-wrenching basis for its main cast, with such tragic consequences, and to such a level of depth. I've yet to find something similar, probably never will. Its different, but somehow believable, Yu wrote the characters so well that they came to life. GSG was just....gahhh amazing!

Its morbid, interesting, heart-wrenching, and full of good story and drawing.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
