Valkyrie Suitgirl
If you know Nanoha and how it's like a gundam series in magical girl form, then I present to you the inverse, a magical girl series in Gundam form. Valkyrie Suitgirl is a mecha project I'm currently developing as of now.
The story takes place about a few decades into the future where the Federate Kingdom mega-corporation has risen to power. Not only does it have a hand on most if not all aspects of human civilization, but it also acts like a nation in the form of constitutional monarchy with a private military force and a large weapons industry that provides equipment to organizations all over the globe. Because of this growth and use of power, a coalition of powers including the US, China, Germany, and other states declared war on the Federate Kingdom to remove it leaders, Executive and Queen Silver, from power.
Despite its disadvantages and losing the war, the FK had the flexibility to keep the World Coalition of Powers (WorldCoP) from making much progress. This included evenly diving their military force into cells, cooperating with underground organizations, and even have protection from allying and neutral countries that were against WorldCoP's actions.
The story begins when the international coalition prepared for a strike on Japan, which remained neutral to either side, yet held FK buildings and bases including a major R&D center holding Executive Silver. Ignoring the protests from the Japanese, the strike force led by mostly US troops launched their campaign to destroy FK buildings, seize Executive Silver, and confiscate all R&D materials found there.
Akiko "Kawasaki" Silver, a clinically depressed daughter adopted by the Silvers, suddenly gets caught up in the battle and stumbles into the secret underground R&D labs underneath the FK's Japanese headquarters. She runs into her father, who immediately shows her mecha known as the Valkyrie Suit. He reveals she is a Suitgirl, what he calls his children he adopted who are given the power to efficiently use the mecha. He also confesses that he was behind the loss of her parents, who were abusive towards her. His reasoning for all of this was not to trust her in winning the war, but to also make her life more meaningful, make a world better for her, and help find the strength she demanded.
Convinced by these words as Executive Silver is eventually found and surrounded by coalition soldiers, Akiko activates the Valkyrie and protects her father while being forced to wipe out the enemy forces in the process. Going through the hell of the war while meeting new friends and enemies, she serves under Silver's elite force of Suitgirls and Suitboys in their fight against international coalition forces.
I'll have more info up as soon as I can. If anyone wants to learn more, I'll be more than glad to discuss.

Re: Valkyrie Suitgirl
This series is original. It's not a Gundam series, just another mecha one, so there's no point.Nachtsider wrote:Y U NO SET SERIES IN UC
edit: Heheh. If you were making a joke, that's a good one.
