Hurricane Sandy

Hi guys!!! Some of you have sent me messages asking if I was alright. Me and my family are all fine. My house is intact. (Can't say the same for a full grown tree that completely uprooted and fell in front of our house though.)

My house has been without power since mid Monday and we probably won't get it back till Tuesday. Staten Island got hit the hardest and it's just now getting recognition in the news. We have no gas at the gas stations because trucks can't get to the island. A lot of the island is still without power, and tons of trees and power lines are down. It's a mess.

Thankfully my friends that live in Brooklyn near my school let me stay over for a few days because Pratt started school again (and everyone else still has off...) I only had one class out of 3. -__- At least I got to charge my phone and laptop and take a HOT SHOWER (best thing ever) X3

Also, I haven't been on the boards as much lately simply because of school work. I'll be around more during Thanksgiving and X-mas. ^___^

...so it sounds like he's okay. Who else do we have living in the affected areas?

I live in Delaware and luckily we didn't get hit too hard, even though we had the center of the storm pass over us. Sort of freaky how it worked like that. Glad everyone else is okay. My kneejerk reaction was that it was a bunch of hype but that was before all the bad news came from north of here. Had a friend who lost a relative. Luckily it seems like things are getting better pretty steadily.

Glad to hear people are mostly in one piece.
